Great news on the iPhone purchase, Warbonnet. You'll soon have the cushions, then you can aim for the rug. After that, you can price up the flooring. It took me and my DH 3 years to decide which kitchen flooring we both liked, so no rush!

It took me a year to lose 22 lbs, and I still have another 5 to go, but the difference in my appearance is amazing. So good luck on the Biggest Loser challenge. Even a 10 minute walk at lunchtime can make a difference, and it's good for clearing your head of the mornings work.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Since giving up the booze I have lost 1.5 inches on my waist - I actually have a waist again now!

Warbonnet - you are right, I know. My friends should accept me for who I am. I think deep down it is their insecurity about drinking. I am not pushing my not drinking on them, so why should they push their drinking on me?
  • well said lilith they should accept you for who you are and why are they pushing their drinking on you so they dont have to deal with their drinking pulling you down with them.

Posting early 3 AFD please. Sunday is an almost set in stone AFD so I am safe. x
  • Think I'll post early too. 3 AF days of Nobrewery, don't feel like a drink got a headache and not on my own with the kids. Enjoying the feeling of being sober and I'm sure its helping my anxiety. Life is still good and I'm enjoying knowing what I'm doing.

Me too, 3 AFD please for me Shaggy.

Just wanted to share this as I am a bit of a petrol head. I bought my OH a driving experience in a Lamborghini for his birthday last year and we finally went today, to Rockingham Speed Way. I had just as much fun taking pictures of the other cars while he was on the track :D

I've hinted that I'd like a driving experience in an Aston Martin, gorgeous! :p

    Evening :hello:

I wasn't AF last night but just 2 or 3 units of red wine. Back on the wagon tonight.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
