A very positive sounding start to Febrewery everyone!
Starting off with 1/24 AF
I've got so much on this weekend, there isn't time for a hangover. Haircut then Zumba tonight. Saturday: 5k run in morning, afternoon - volunteering at an exciting "Popcorn Experience" event at Milton Keynes Xscape (so IF you want free popcorn, and are in MK tomorrow, pop along and get some). Sunday: church, housework, exercise, Thrive course, at Xscape again for Costa Coffee's new voices evening.
It's great having a colleague to support and be supported by... it's amazing how threatened some team members feel by us going tee-total, but all done in good humour.
Off to bed so I can be up in time for breakfast before my ParkRun.
Hugs for anyone who needs them xxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Hi everyone, I did it. Drove there and back had 2 diet cokes, sharing combo of chicken tikka, onion rings, garlic bread and barbecue ribs with a little salad, I had rosemary and garlic chicken and he had 16oz rump steak and i had cheesecake and he had waflle and ice cream. Watched him have 2 pints of stella and didnt bother me at all. I feel great, had a lovely meal, I drove there and back and I can't remember the last time I did that, and I showed him that alcohol is not the main reason for going out for a meal or anywhere else for that matter, whooop whooop.
1 AFD for Nobrewery February please Shaggydoo.

Well done 41 and Barney. I think one of my next challenges will be when we go out with friends (most of whom are very heavy drinkers). But that is amazing both of you, well done!0
