11AF days for me now please.
41- What a time you have had. Losing so many people you know in such a short time is really tough. You must feel like some little boat bobbing about in a storm. However, with your strength and determination I am sure, as the captain, you will keep your little boat on course. I think the impact of such events often don't hit until later on when the seas are a little less rough, and you look back at them. When you do, you will realise what a strong and resiliant person you are, and point yourself towards the new horizon with a hearty determination. I wish you all the best for the next couple of weeks, we'll all be thinking of you.
maman - I beat myself up spectacularly last week when I drank too much but you just had a cheery resolution of an AF night to follow. I am going to try to be more like you and look forward rather than back. Thank you.
Everyone else - it's Friday. Lets make the most of it. Hooray!
Kind regards and positive thoughts to those in need

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Other second cousin, sister of above, broke hip 4 days after her sisters funeral, and was terminal breast cancer patient and died. Funeral tomorrow.
Auntie died 2 and a half weeks ago, throat cancer and riddled. Died in the same ICU. Funeral a week tomorrow.
Auntie died on Saturday of septicaemia in same ICU. Funeral a week tomorrow, my two cousins are burying their mothers an hour apart.
Everything that I do is for these people, I have a chance to change and my life is nothing if not to try and live it for the better, without deliberately trying to shorten it. These family members and friends their time ran out, mine has not and I don't know when it will.
RIP Uncle David, my friend's mum Irene or Eileen, Molly, Margaret, Nesta, Auntie Shirley, Auntie Melanie. Never give up on life til it gives up on you. Look after yourselves, I wish you peace and health and happiness.

and WOW that is so !!!! - big hugs 41 and well done for staying strong. I am put in mind a quote from Nelson Mandela
"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Hi all, no AFD for me last night.
I fancied some wine, but perhaps not for the entirely right reasons as I was frazzled from work. But I only bought a miniature bottle so just had 1.8 units. Mind you, I think I also need to watch my food as we cooked a curry and shared a bar of chocolate
Planning on being good on both counts today
On a good note, I had my deposit back from my landlord for the other place so that's a weight off my mind0 -
11AF please Shaggy
41, you are doing great, and OMG, 7.5 lbs off!!! Well jealous lol0
