Another AF evening. Hooray that makes 6AFDs. Can't really say the going is easy but nothing worth having is easy to come by I often think.

Satchmo1 - I am also doing a couch potato to 5k programme but mine is over 9 weeks. I am now running 3 mins and walking 90secs then running 5 and walking 2 mins. I'm not a natural runner but its helping get me fit.Let me know how you get on.

    Chin up everyone. Keep going.

    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)
  • Hiya everyone. I've got viral laryngitis but feel a little better tonight. Only got 2 co-dydramol left given to me by out of hours gp at 2am so back to paracetamol then so here's hoping I can cope with the pain. Haven't seen my dad today as kids off and I'm ill too. No voice either so unable to phone him, wondering when my voice will return, never lost it for this long before.
8 AF days, not missing drink as my throat in agony, and I know that if I did drink that my throat would feel a whole lot worse.

I'm going to discuss this with my doctor at my next appointment, but just wondered if anyone has had anything similar so long into a period of abstainance?

Yes I have heard of sweet cravings after giving up alcohol.

I'm sure discussing it worth your GP is the best way forward. Dr Google is scary!

Glad you've got a diagnosis, hope you feel better very soon 41.

Good to see you mrsdee. SNAP! I took an age to get back into it after Easter too and I'm away for a week's holiday this month. really hoping I can make my usual 10.

    Another for me.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.
  • Good morning lovely people,

Have been AWOL for a while due to life and work getting in the way.

As a result the AFD's have suffered (I've not managed one!)

So I'm back again but aiming small, please can you put me down for 5 AFD's for May?

    Hope everyone is feeling ok?

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
