Hi all, 28 AFDs for me please
Last week at the job I don't like, got a late night working on Wednesday which I wish I didn't have as I just want to get home, however, it will be the last one and then into a 9-5 job where I can leave it all in the office when I go home
Hope Monday isn't too bad for everyone, I haven't got the Monday blues today like a normally have lol0 -

How are things in the rainman household?
Not that good at the mo. MrR was made redundant in the 16th so we have daily drinking from lunchtime. Fortunately he has a new job which he starts on the 13th May. It's longer hours so hopefully should make a difference.

Hi everyone, bad news my auntie passed away, she had been in intensive care for 6 weeks today. They tried for over an hour to resuscitate her. RIP. That makes 6 deaths in about 2 months, starting to feel a bit numb.

At least he's got another job so not all bad news but it's hard to believe he's drinking more when he's out of work. I can see that he has the time but surely money's tight? I think you're amazing to cope with it.:)
So sorry to hear your sad news 41. You must be so proud to have managed to stay away from the booze with so much stress.:A
Good to see you mackeroo and well done for getting yourself back on track for May.
Another day for me, my last this month as I'm out for dinner tomorrow.
So that's 12 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
In the face of everyone's difficulties it feels somewhat trite to celebrate my 8/8 AF days, so I will give myself a quiet cheer and a small smile. I would never have done this if it wasn't for this thread.
41 and i know it - What a week. It's amazing anyone gets through these things, but as I know myself, somehow the days just keep on ticking over and you have no choice to keep going. When we look back at times of high stress and difficulties it's almost as if it happened to someone else and we realise how resiliant we really are. I am hoping you can find some deep inner strength to help you cope. Your parents must be so proud to have a daughter so kind and helpful.
Lots of support to all of you.
Kind regards
Slowdown:)0
