1/30 AFD - getting April off to a flying start. Too much chocolate, though, and had a bit of a go a DH for not pulling his weight. He slunk off and made tomorrow's lunch for both of us, so it must have had some impact.
Night all. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Oh, Shaggy, can I change my target to 30 for April please? Thanks. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Hi Cuppa I always like to see how everyone is doing to as it keeps me in check and motivates me, just wish life was calmer so I have more time for this sort of thing! You are so right Shaggy is amazing I don't know how she manages to keep track of it all!0

1 AFD for me please Shaggy
Back to work tomorrow, but hopefully we'll hear from the letting agent about the house as they have had all the referencing documents now.
I don't think the landlord will sort our heating before we leave, so the sooner we hear about the house the better.
Some good news is that we have nearly made the £200 we need in moving costs by selling stuff on ebay. So that's good as I didn't want to get in debt over this move. I just hope I get my deposit back as I have a feeling the landlord may be difficult
Just had a hot chocolate and now off to bed, night night everyone0 -

I don't think the landlord will sort our heating before we leave, so the sooner we hear about the house the better. Considering its still like the middle of winter, thats not good. Double more crossed fingers.

Morning all! Up early as had a rubbish sleep, past 2 mornings got up really late due to being full of cold and late nights lol. Thanks for the lovely posts and oodles of support and encouragement. My auntie has a tracheostomy now and still on ventilator after 2 weeks, its not looking good so we are just waiting I think to hear something, the latest chest xray shows that the other lung is knackered too now. However, it makes me appreciate what I have in my life, I know that if my auntie dies it will make me more determined to enjoy life and look after myself. That sounds awfully selfish, doesn't it. I don't want her to die but it is out of my control.

No, 41, it doesn't make you selfish, just human. Hang on in there, my lovely. Hugs xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

It's been a while since I've been in here but I'll have 14AFD please
Wine has crept back in as a daily occurrence, there's always an excuse. Stop button is fading again
It is my birthday at the end of the month and we are having a big fancy dress party. I REALLY REALLY want to enjoy and remember it. Last year on my birthday I fell and cut my head open on the side of the bath. I burn with shame every time I see the scar.
I need to regain control.Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

I've been a bit absent too idris! The Past couple of months have been terrible for drinking - back to daily consumption, sometimes quite a lot! We've had visitors a lot and if course then it feels like you're on holiday.
So, back on the wagon - yesterday was AF and I'm aiming on the rest if the week being AF too.
Like Mari I won't set a target Shaggy, thanks, but I'll keep track and post here.
Now that spring's meant to be here I'm hoping that will help lift my mood and help with the desire to have a drink to take the edge off the day.Trying to keep in budget.

Hi Shaggy
Can I have 11 days for April please
I have sorted things out with my fella, it got to the point where I was physically hurting about it, no wine to knock me out Friday so I was fretting all night, stomach cramps etc
So, am over the moon that we are back on track, he was right, we are to good together to lose it - am gutted I fell straight back into the wine trap, think I will try another month off again soon - makes me more in control
Hugs to one and all x0
