10 AFDs for me please so that's my target met!
I'm out for a meal tomorrow but hoping to get at least a couple more in for March. It's been a very social month and April starts that way too. For those finding it hard to be moderate, I found that over time my tolerance has dropped so the stop button kicks in before I get to the end of a bottle.0 -
No AF for me yesterday so stuck at 9/11AF (but I'm determined that I will make my target this month).
My tolerance for alcohol is definitely decreasing - 2 glasses of red last night and I feel jaded this morning. I've just got to get the desire for wine to decrease as well
Keep warm today everyone0 -
25 af days, alcohol is in the fridge and the worktop but i dont even see it now, i know it will be completely different when i go out for an evening but it has to be done.

Morning peeps,
Managed AFD #5 last night and aiming for another tonight.
Like others have said, not drinking isn't a problem for me, however drinking in moderation is. So if I don't drink, that to me is a result. Drinking is reserved for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Hi all,
25 AFDs for me please Shaggy.
Currently sat here in my coat lol, the engineer came round yesterday and the boiler got a nice red sticker to say it was not to be used as was unsafe
Trust me to pick a week off work when there's no heating.
Well I guess this is karma for the landlord who made a botch job of the guttering. He fixed it so the join was above the flue and the water has leaked into the flue and flooded the boiler. There was water [STRIKE]dripping[/STRIKE] pouring out of the boiler yesterday, all around the electrics
They are coming tomorrow to hopefully put a new one in.
In other news, we went to see a house last night and really liked it. Trying not to get excited but going to apply and then hopefully we can leave this house as the boiler packing up was the last straw0 -
Hi macpep1
I've registered with drinkaware to and it has really opened my eyes to how much I was drinking. Some how that g & t before dinner and half a bottle of wine with didn't seem too much but thats classified as binge drinking for a woman
This is what got me to do the Dryathlon in January in the first place - OH and I added up our units over Christmas - 80+ in ONE week
That is when it hit home that I had to do something. I don't think I can do drink in moderation. I have stopped totally and feel so much better. I can't imagine just having one drink, so I feel safer to have none at all.0
