Hi everyone. My uncle died suddenly and I went to his funeral week before last, then a friend of mine died suddenly of pancreatitis, went to her funeral on Thursday, today I found out that my 2nd cousin passed away Sunday night from exasperation of chronic obstructive airway disease, she was in ICU with my auntie who is still on a ventilator in ICU, my friend's mother has also passed away she was in the same ICU. This morning found out that a really nice lady who has helped me in womens aid her 13 year old son died suddenly monday night. What's going on in this world? All this is making me realise how precious life is, I am so grateful to be alive and breathing on my own. Hoping my auntie will come off life support, she been in for 9 days so far, hope everyone is safe, please all take care.

I wish this snow would stop now, would be nice to see some sun and feel a little bit warm outside. I was amused when another dog walker commented in passing 'bit warmer this morning', it's 2 degrees!

Re units per week... I worked it out to be around a bottle and a half of wine so half a bottle Friday and saturday with a bit over... Hmm.. but my tolerance is reducing and I can have a conversation with myself after the half bottle to say "enough"... otherwise I'll open another bottle and have to drink it all (with DH). anyone else the same?? It's only wine that I care about. I am also now drinking better quality wine but less of it which I think also helps....
For me the easiest way to drink less is to have my first drink as late as possible and to make sure there is plenty of water avaiable so I can keep alternatng...also your tolerance will drop. I am now a cheap date:DWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again.
