Had a fab 3 course lunch, leek and potato soup with some nice bread, roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and chocolate extravaganza for afters. Car also serviced and tracking rod replaced cost £50 tut. OHs transporter broke down on way home and hes trying to fix it its bellowing out black smoke something to do with the inter cooler (straight over my head) pipe.
What a great day, I'm bloated, tired but AF free and that is the main thing, can't remember when my last AF mothering sunday was, probably when I was pregnant with both my kids, or maybe not, I can't remember.

Boo, today I've broken my 69 day streak for one measly glass of wine! Back on track tomorrow. No point in slashing the three remaining tyres on my wagon just 'cos I got a flat tyre. Off to the garage to pump it up (metaphorically btw, in reality off to bed for a read). What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

I HAVE EDITED #1008 WITH THE LATEST AFDsWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
10 afd's so far for March. I've got my eye on that skipping sheep. I did think about having a wee glass last night, but it would have meant going out to buy a bottle and it was ffffffreeezing, so I didn't.

Happy Monday morning everyone!
Isnt it amazing how a Monday morning is not so grim when you've had an AFD the day before....? I woke up after a brilliant night's deep sleep feeling contented and refreshed and happy. That's a feeling I hadnt had for years until cutting down the booze these past four weeks.
I feel like i'm readjusting my life so that alcohol is no longer the centre of it like it used to be. Quite strange - I am thinking about it and reading about it a lot (and of course spending some time on here). Feeling very happy with the decision to cut down and stay well within govt guidelines for alcohol units.
Good luck everyone with whatever your goal is with regard to alcohol.
Have a good day!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...
