11 AFD days for March for me, has the SNC finished?
  • Good morning,

Whast a very cold night it was last night! Just when I thought we'd hit Spring too.

Last night was AFD #1 for me, it was strange not drinking when DH was.

The one problem I did have last night was even though I was shattered, I found it hard to get to sleep? I think it was probably because of all the tea I drink last night, I think I need to balance it out with fruit tea.

Still it was nice to wake up not feeling like I need a drink of water.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Purple well done even when your hubby was drinking, you are amazing. First day of Spring on my gran's bday 21st March so still some hope, its snowing outside, i got a boiling cuppa tea in my hands and i am not hungover. Even though i miss the drink i dont miss the side-effects and mess the next day.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I drink Cadbury's drinking chocolate. It says on the tub swirl into hot milk but I make mine like instant coffee - with small bit of milk and mostly hot water. I have it in a tall latte mug and I might have 1 or 2 in an evening - does the trick for me.:) My OH likes Options - all flavours...

    Morning everyone

satchmo that was a cautionary tale. It goes to show that excess alcohol can send you nuts. Thank goodness we are all still on here. Well done to everyone so much positivity, especially to purple on your first af this month.

I had a really good nights sleep last night after drinking mocha-cinnos (can't spell it):rotfl: and am feeling good today. I hope everyone else has a good day.

Not keen on hot chocolate but will have a look down that aisle as there's probably something I can try. I do like Horlicks though x
