hi macpep, I smiled at your comment about keeping busy, as I have amazed myself at how much I now get done in the evenings due to all the "extra" time I find now that I am not drinking every night! I've been making cakes, mending clothes, sewing buttons on, doing handwashing, batch cooking, sorting out paperwork and filing, writing letters! I soon plan on starting making gifts for birthdays/Christmas presents (just not sure what yet!). Very MSE all round! Congrats on your achievements so far...
I also do flylady so I am used to being busy in the evening but normally would leave lists for DH to do or get him to do stuff whilst I got on with the flying so I could be sitting down for "wine 'o' clock!!:rotfl:Just meant 2 of us were in the kitchen cooking last night. Will spend some quality time with DS tonight as DD hibernates in her room at night!

Not sure what happened to my post, it disappeared.
Went to my uncle's funeral today, aged 67 not sure how he died even though he had a post-mortem, waiting for blood test result or something.
Found dead in bed after missing for a few days, not taken medication since 2006 because he was warned if he drank with it it would kill him. Chose drink over medication for high blood pressure and other things. Everyone is in bits, he died on his own in bed after being missing for a few days, police had to break the door down. Please look after yourselves everyone, drink is a killer, it may take 10-20-30 years to do it, or 1 day or 1 drink, it is a sedative, tranquiliser and depressant, you can choke on your own vomit. I don't want anyone to find a loved one dead in bed like my cousin's 19 year old son did, my uncle was like a grandad to him , he called him bampa.

11/31 AFDs, with air in the metaphorical flat tyre. Didn't feel able to confess my colleague who is still going strong with her 1 year AF target.
Took a group of four colleagues out for a first "couch to 5k" session tonight. It was fun, and gave me a surprisingly good workout by running between the two walkers and the two joggers. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

Many happy retums for Thursday purple while I remember. I think you're doing really well. It's my birthday today. I was out celebrating last night, bubbly at home today and lunch out tomorrow.:o All well controlled tho' and no embarassing moments. A big difference to how I'd have behaved in the past. I WILL get an AF day in this week.0 -
