Caring for a husband with dementia health is the most important thing and no amount of money can buy that0

Switch off the 'puter before midnight, and put the bed to its proper use (no I don't mean sleeping);)
A bottle of bubbly would be a nice extra, but isn't essential.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
A lot of men seem to think it has to be expensive to be good , and most women (I know there are exceptions) don't see it this way.
The sweetest thing my husband did was to draw a heart with his name and mine in the frost on the back window of my van. When I started it the next morning in the cold and the windows fogged up , it appeared like magic. It was cold but my heart was sure warmed by something that disn't cost a dime.0 -
A dozen red roses or just flowers delivered to me at work.0

I'd like a cup of coffee in bed while hubby gets the girls ready for school, then go for breakfast at our favourite deli! And the new pair of slippers that I asked for at Christmas;)0

we have never done the valentine's thing as we hate the commercialism (don't even give cards/presents on our anniversary either) but a reminder every so often to stop and take time to appreciate your partner & enjoy each other's company is no bad thing0 -
I like getting a card, because Valentine's Day is the only time my boyfriend will get me one. He can't stand cards and thinks they're a huge waste of money, and yet he will buy one for me every Valentine's Day and write something sweet inside. I've kept them all0

If single, Not knowing who sent it (be it card, flowers or whatever) would be delicious!
From significant other, best gift would be silk bed linen....0
