I think its about £4 a pop for both the Sure and Dove versions, but it really is amazingly and confortably dry. I tried it as I got a free sample and now won't use anything else!:D

I tried both of these, and they seemed to make me sweat more! I couldn't understand it and after a few tries have just given up.0 -
I have had a problem with excess persipration for a while, and add stress to the situation and I'm left very uncomfortable.
It doesn't cause me to smell - just in case anyone is wondering!
I found that Sure used to work some of the time for me, but then they removed the alcohol and turned them into a creamy white liquid and the issue is that it won't even dry so it's useless. I then found M&S coco butter deodorant and anti-perspirant was good (again, had alcohol in it) but lo and behold they changed the formula. I always had to use the roll on, wipe off any which hadn't dried and then a good squirt of aerosol Sure.
I tried the Driclor and Perspirex which caused my skin to peel off and omg the pain! I didn't use it on freshly shaven armpits but still had tears in my eyes after applying it and waking up 2 hours after having to get in the shower and wash it off (you apply it before bed time with the idea you wash it off in the morning).
I finally found something which does work - the doctor prescribed Pro-Banthine (propantheline Bromide) which seems to work for about 3 - 4 hours per tablet. I know it's very expensive so my GP had to write to the PCT to get it approved for me, but I have problems with something else the tablets also help with, so for me it's a magic 2 in 1 tablet. Because I know they are expensive I try to only take them when I'm going out, seeing friends, really stressed etc. but they do work and anyone who is having real issues and has tried everything should look into it. You can also get it on private prescription if your GP isn't able to prescribe it (with my local PCT it's on a list of non-prescribeable medications unless there is significant reason in which case a special case has to be put forward to them and they look into it on a case-by-case basis).
Good luck everyone!0 -
Oh, and the Sure Total Protection was terrible. It just seemed to melt off my skin onto my clothes staining them horribly. I wouldn't recommend it at all.0

Something which does help a little is changing whatever deodorant/anti-persiprant I use.
I have 3 (3 roll ons and 3 aerosols) which I alternate between as I find using the same one for even 2 days in a row it becomes less effective.
Even if it's just a different scent in the same brand it seems to help alternating them.0 -

That's the story of my life, at least, most of my office working life. I tried most of antiperspirants but the result was always the same - just more sweating .0 -
Found them on the Pharmacy place website for £3.70 delivered. On their website it looks as if they've reduced it from £6.70 while they're selling them on the Amazon for £6.03
The link works but the price is £6.04 and not £3.70
Buy them in bulk and it works out cheaper then £3.70

My boyfriend used to use 'Sweat block'. Basically you put a small pad under your armpit before you go to bed, and it stops sweating for 1 week at a time. It might be worth giving it a go? Look it up online. They are not cheap though.0
