    I've been Money Tipped!

    At the ripe old age of 44! you think I wouldn't worry about these things but excessive sweating was the bain of my life since my teens. I always wore a jacket even in hot weather. I can seriously recommend Dri-Clor or Anhydrol-forte which some one put in an earlier post. You only need to use them every two weeks and despite the itchy feeling for the first couple of uses they really do work and after a while you get used to it. They are about £6 each a bottle but mine lasts at least a year and they are non prescription. I now have confidence to wear what I want and not carry a can of deodorant around with me.

    The website says;

    Don't, of course, get carried away and wear them for more than a day, although, they can last longer, but we have plenty in the stock to sell so you wouldn't be doing us a favour!

    this is a money saving website, so wearing them more than day would be doing us a money saving favour! :p

    Sure, why not. It can be done :j sometimes

    Surely if you sweat so much that you need underarm pads to stop it showing through, those pads are going to be very sweaty by the end of the day. Very sweaty means wet and quite probably smelly - why on earth would you wear them for a second day?! :eek:

    First: I was partly joking
    Second: It can be done, I had it once for two days. However, I wasn't sweating too much.
    But you are right and everything is exactly how you've described it. In those circumstances it is neither recommended nor possible.

    I used Driclor for a year and it was too uncomfortable to be worth it, awful itching and dry skin. I used Mitchum and it stained my clothes. I've been using pads for about 6 months now and try to 'save' them for better clothes so I don't whizz through them. I buy mine on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110899852717&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:IE:3160

    Does anyone else have trouble applying them? I find it v awkward and they can stick to my underarms or get all rumpled! They do pick up all the sweat though and can smell after a few hours so I bring some deodorant roll on in my bag. All those years of ashamedly putting tissue under my armpits, its good to know i'm not alone!

    I couldn't resist the price and I bought some.
    cheap+useless=very expensive.
    I've tried several underarm pads and these are the least recomendable.

    I didn't know they made these pads. I use to use the high concentrate aluminium OTC anti perspirant but that used to make my skin peel off. I could have done with these back in a days when I was sweating and working. Now I'm still sweating but I'm retired and not bothered any more.

    I did not realize that there was a deal 4 for 3 on their site. I just went ahead and bought 4 boxes for £15. You can't imagine my surprise when they contacted me to refund me a difference. It's not about the money, it's the sentiment that I really appreciate. Very refreshing.

    Sentiment is fine but it's all about the money :)

    Found them on the Pharmacy place website for £3.70 delivered. On their website it looks as if they've reduced it from £6.70 while they're selling them on the Amazon for £6.03
