Nonchalante underarm pads

Hi Photme
I didn't mean to sound harsh or disrespect your opinion/suggestion in any way. After reading a little bit more about creme, I couldn't think of any other word but vile. Sorry. You've also mentioned that creme as a last resort yourself. I thought that she should try something milder to start with. GP will probably recommend Driclor or similar. Now, being/was in a similar situation I know how difficult is when hormones start to play with your body. I became more sensitive and couldn't use even Driclor, never mind anything stronger. Of course, it is embarrassing problem but everybody's different and everybody have to learn how to compromise and improvise in order to make it more bearable. On another hand, it's a problem but it's not the end of the world. Regarding underarm pads, I've mentioned before that they're probably not suitable for somebody who sweat too much and that they're fantastic for the people who sweat moderately. But also, they're not perfect. There is a period when I sweat more then usual, sweat goes over the edges of the pads and I have to improvise somehow. ( well, make sure that my arms don't do any talking) but most of the time they are perfect solution for me and I know that some of my friend are using them and it made the difference for them. They are not for everybody, not everybody likes them, but it's good to know that they are available.
It did appear as if you were disrespecting my suggestion, it seems like most on here are women of a certain age who dont mind wearing pads, but try telling that to a teenage boy! who wont go without something to cover his shirt for fear of being bullied/laughed at0 -

is how can you get it from the NHS for free?
I get all my prescriptions for free (England) because of a medical exemption.
In my case it's under-active thyroid that qualifies me but once you qualify you get everything for free.0 -
Let's clear this up, softening up your suggestion - yes, disrespecting it - no. It's difficult to argue against something for what you don't have a right solution, but I still think that people should search for least damaging solutions, especially teenagers. When you apply strong chemicals to your armpits, it doesn't just stay there, it goes into your body and doing it every day, in a long run, it has to be some risk involved.
So your reply is still that the cream shouldnt be used..unbelievable.
there is risk involved in everything you do, but sometimes the risk to reward is worth it.
Do you have shares in these pads as it appears you dont like any alternatives0 -
I was just wondering if any of you have tried Dove (or Sure is just the same) Total Protection Deodorant cream? It is the best deodorant hubby and I have tried. I think its about £4 a pop for both the Sure and Dove versions, but it really is amazingly and confortably dry. I tried it as I got a free sample and now won't use anything else!:D

Ok, you've never left any link to your cream so I've researched:
"Taking extra doses of some medicines can be harmful. In some cases even one extra dose can cause you problems. If you take extra doses of your medicine, you must get medical advice immediately. This is because the effects of taking too much medicine are very complex so it is very important that you seek medical advice".
You are recommending a cream that is very hard to get, there is no much info about it, you've never said that you've been using it but you heard from somebody who has. So actually, you are recommending something you don't know much about. I would be put off by this.
"there is risk involved in everything you do, but sometimes the risk to reward is worth it."
Of course, but you should also try to eliminate, if you can, as many unnecessary risks as possible.
"Do you have shares in these pads as it appears you dont like any alternatives"
At which point was clear for you that don't like any alternatives? I've tried them all. I keep saying that everybody's are individual and that everybody's have to find right solution for themselves. I have no shares in these pads but I have knowledge of these pads and I'm happy to share my experience. So, if you come back and say "Glycopyrronium bromide cream is 50% off online, it's fantastic and I've been using it for..."
I'll say, "Tell me more, tell me more......"0 -

I was just buying some on their website and saw that they have a special offer which is 4 for 3, which works out just over £3 per box plus free delivery. It looks like a great offer to me.

Don't, of course, get carried away and wear them for more than a day, although, they can last longer, but we have plenty in the stock to sell so you wouldn't be doing us a favour!
this is a money saving website, so wearing them more than day would be doing us a money saving favour!0
