Right challenge number 1 - free listing this weekend, I'm going to aim for 100 new listings  (Yes, I STILL have that much clutter!)
Anyone want to join me? Obviously you don't have to aim for 100, but whatever you want to do
I'll join you. I will go for the massive mind-blowing total of ......... 5 things. :rotfl:
That would be an achievement for me, believe me.0 -

Hi all,
jwil - well done on getting all those listings done so far - i am in aweI managed to get the 14 newly listed items on tonight which took a bigger effort than expected but its done now *fingers crossed* we all get some sales
peaceandfreedom - lovely to see you again - how are you? Hope you are ok hon. Good to hear that the new job is going well :T Also good to hear that you are going to assess the finances and debt - i found knowing what i owed to who, monthly expenditure and working out a balance to target really helped me focus and shift a good chunk of the debt
jwil, little jwil sounds fab - i always smile when you chat about himi am so pleased for you and mr jwil :T:j As p&f said we all knew you'd be a great mum
i'd love to join in the challenge but not sure if i'm capablecompletely and utterly shattered once again - need to push myself to book in with the docs again re. thyroid
Then again, i've been quite ill for a number of weeks so it could simply be that i am run down having not had the chance or given myself the time to properly recover. I'll plum for 20 newly listed items - giving me 6 more to actually find and list - think this will be a big stretch for me as i'm pretty sure the clothes declutter has been done to the nth degree
In good money news - i returned an item today and got a £3 refund :T I bought several magazines today  wait for it... all of them were giving away something free that i will (do) use - only mine are often the much cheaper variety - so i got a new nail polish, new mascara, new eyeliner, new lipgloss and lipliner all for the princely sum of £6.50The mascara that i needed to buy would have cost more that this alone so i was very pleased with my haul - alot of magazines to read now though :rotfl: I also cashed out on a survey site :T and am contemplating a cashback deal but don't think my brain is functioning enough to really think about it

Just popping in quickly to say 'I did it!' :j :T 100 new listings
I'm shattered. Also sold something on fb today so that was £45 to add :T
Hope everyone else managed ok. Will try and update properly tomorrow but have had lots of sales today too, so lots of packing tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a good day"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks guys
The sales are going ok at the moment - DH's are doing very well. Not sure how I'm going to pack it all though  we've pretty much run out of boxes.
I listed something as 99p with free postage. It's going to cost £10 to post unless I look into a courier (which I think I will do for this). It's a job lot which I wanted to get rid of, have been hanging around for ages and no charity shop would want. I was kind of hoping that it would go up enough to cover the postage, but it's not so far. I did expect to sell it and have to pay to get rid of it, but I don't mind too much, I'm just glad to see the back of it. There's still time though so fingers crossed.
I'm off to sell at a boot sale later, hope everyone else has a good day"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
