Hope everything is going well..have to say MSE can be a full time job so hardly unexpected that you have been 'spendy'...don't be too hard on yourself.
Ebay has been a nightmare and postage shocking. Would almost prefer to give it away and as OH says..not buy any new stuff!!:D
eB@y post is creeping up. Need to list more.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Oh my word, it's been ages since I've last posted! Had to really hunt for my diary. Not good!
I've still been busy, but we've had visitors so I've been otherwise distracted and was trying to get the house semi presentable for them.
Have still been listing away and we've cleared out quite a bit. it still never seems to go down though!
I've listed another load today on ebay so fingers crossed for some sales.
I've been a bit spendy recently so I need to reign that in and get that income increased. I'm on lower wages now so need to be careful. I am also determined to stay off until next year so it is imperative I get on with this.
I keep saying this, but I am going to try and post again regularly and will have a think about some targets.
Hope everyone is well, and I will catch up with everyone's diaries soon!
:kisses3:
Hi jwil - it is lovely to have you backi can understand how hard it must be to try and post regularly - Good Luck on the sales

Lovely to hear from you all again
I've not done much today, smear test this morning (yuck), then baby boogie, some surveys and then went to a car boot to have a mooch.
More spending today thougha purse and a set of books for little man. I never used to go in town, but baby boogie means I'm there every Friday now. Must stay strong!
I have managed to redeem a £5 amazon voucher though so that's good
I agree that ebay postage is a nightmare now. I've done a few things to make it easier - add half the cost to the listing, so the postage looks lower, use free postage and add it all in the listing, and I've also bought some boxes from ebay which are the maximum size for a small parcel, so try and spread things out as much as possible so they go in there.
Hope everyone is well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi Jwil and everyone.
Sorry I've been AWOL for so long, I've lost focus and enthusiasm for any kind of debt-busting and have just been pottering along, achieving little in terms of reducing debt. Not in control of our spending, too much being spent on food in particular.
So I wandered back here and I see targets are being mentioned - so, COUNT ME IN, LADIES. :j
I need to do some kind of reconciliation and work out what I need to do to start reducing debt properly.
My new job is going pretty well, money has gone up though still rubbish, but I reckon people think well of me, so that's something.
Need to get ebaying and car booting again. Will read everyone else's targets with interest and come back with some of my own.0 -
Oh, forgot to say that I am delighted that baby boy Jwil is thriving - we all knew you'd be a fantastic mum, Jwil!
Amazed you are still managing to do all the car boots and ebaying.:)0 -

People are still paying the postage though, so it's not all bad. I don't offer collection as I hate people coming to the house, and I've been let down so many times when I have done it. There's just too many timewasters for my liking.peaceandfreedom wrote: »Hi Jwil and everyone.

Thank you bothLittle jwil is doing really well, he's such a cutie (if I may say so myself
) He's very good and content so I'm quite lucky. He takes everything in his stride so that's all good and means we can carry on doing other stuff. I do have to pack stuff when he's napping though as he hates the sound of brown tape

Ha ha, I'm with baby Jwil on the brown tape thing.
He's good and content and takes everything in his stride because that's the way you are and he will automatically respond. He sounds an absolute delight. It's so lovely to have a baby who just goes with the flow.0 -
Right challenge number 1 - free listing this weekend, I'm going to aim for 100 new listings  (Yes, I STILL have that much clutter!)
Anyone want to join me? Obviously you don't have to aim for 100, but whatever you want to do"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
