    Hey everyone :)

I've managed to do 18 listings for me this afternoon, and have a few bits to list for DH now as well.

I've also sold a few more items and a book, so that's good as well.

DH has a load of stuff going out today so another lot of packing will be due.

We did go for a mooch around the boot sale this morning, didn't really buy anything though did get a couple of bits for little one.

I have managed to redeem £45 in amazon vouchers this week from survey sites :T :T so used some of this to buy cat food and flea treatment for the dogs - saves paying cash!

I've signed up DH to some of the survey sites so he can get amazon vouchers too. Just need to make sure he completes them now!

    Hope everyone is well. :)

Hey jwil wow! excellent result on the vouchers and well done on getting so many items listed - hope it brings you a good amount of money in :D

I just seem to have to use every spare penny playing catch up :( also just realised i've agreed to go to a charity do - all for a great cause but never expected when i agreed at the start of the year that i'd still be in a huge deficit financially :o - guess who'll be driving and drinking water then? :o

    Hey everyone :) Happy weekend!

Have managed to have a few more sales on ebay and amazon and get some more stuff listed. I've decided I want to try and raise £3k this month :rotfl: no idea how I would do it, but will give it a go.

I listed a few bits on ebay the other day, and a couple of items that are now selling I've decided I don't really want to sell  I've realised they are not as easy to get hold of as I thought. But, I need to get debt free, I need to declutter, and they are not items that I really use so there is no need to keep them. They are also selling so it would be unfair to the bidders to cancel them. Hopefully they will go for a decent price and I won't regret it so much :D

When I'm debt free if I still miss them I shall hunt them down again.

Hey jwil I was going to message you yesterday to see how you were - figured though that you were probably busy with baby jwil and that you'd post when you had chance :D

Remember when i was super skint? - as though i'm not still in the same position now? :o :rotfl: And i sold stuff i wanted to keep just to get the money in? I thought the same thing - i'd replace stuff after if i really missed it. Now i can't even remember what those things were  Ooh £3000! My kinda challenge - with that money i would be debt free :T I'd have the money for the next flipping utility bill  I'd be able to get the leaky guttering replaced and have a goodly amount to either put into savings or towards a new front door - still got the leaky one :(

I'm a bit nervous about listing on bay of e just now due to the new postage costs coming in next month - i asked at the post office but they said they don't even know what the changes will be :(

Lovely to see you back posting :D

Hey ddfw :) I've had a quick look at the postal prices but not properly so need to sit down. There is a leaflet you can print off somewhere on the royal mail website. There's also a thread on the ebay board on here about it. I need to look through and adjust my prices though.

I figure the same about the items I'm selling - I've not used them for years, so will I really miss them? Probably not. Like you say I probably won't even remember them!

£3000 would be fantastic to raise - I will get nowhere near I'm sure, but I can only dream. It would make things a lot easier.

I do keep dreaming about getting debt free while I'm on maternity leave. That really is a pipe dream but it would be one hell of a challenge. Anything I can pay off though will be a bonus.

I will try and post more often - I am still reading though :)

Hey everyone, I just don't seem to get the chance to post very much. I try and read, but it's just too difficult to type with the baby in hand!

Hope everyone is well, I'm still plodding along and still skint. I've managed to get a few bits on ebay but not as much as I'd like. DH has had some good sales though, so we've got rid of quite a bit. My little spare time though has been spent packing things which means I run out of time for listing. I'd still like to raise the 3K though, so haven't given up on that yet.

    Hope everyone is well :)

Hi Jwil - thank you so much - it was in the post with the neighbour

Well done on getting some things on the bay of e - i struggle to do it and i don't have a little one :D Well done too on mr jwils sales :T:T:T

I am really going to have to revise everything on bay of e now :( I did it last week but sold some bits that were "just too big" to fit in the small parcel thing :(:(:( I am pleased that i still made some money overall but the postage was hugely expensive so anything borderline now on size will have to be carbooted instead :(

Lovely to hear from you and if you post when you can that is great :)

Glad it arrived DDFW :) They must have had your post for a while as I sent it a couple of weeks ago!

I've messed up a couple of my postage bits too. Two of my items I thought would be small parcel are medium parcel so I lost on both of those. I'm going to revise some listings and put similar items on as lots I think so postage is more economical.

I've been working out that if I could raise an extra £2k I could take the rest of the year off on maternity rather than go back in September. I'd so love to do this, so will have to see if I can do it.

I still need to get on track though, and would like to get that £3k as well, so my new challenge will be to raise £5k . We shall see.

I've had my books for the new OU course this year (just a short course to keep my reduced fees should I want to do anything else in the future) so I must make a start on that.

I managed to put baby jwil to sleep in his basket last night :T We've been co-sleeping since he was born and everyone says it's making a rod for your own back. Well he went down no problem and slept through as normal, only waking twice as he normally does. :T Fingers crossed for the same tonight.

    Hope everyone is well :)
