Hey jwil - well done on the sales :T hope the carboots have been good to you this weekend too x
Thanks DDFW :) We did quite well on the sales at the weekend, so pleased with that.
Haven't forgotten you all just so much stuff going on with OH and his health. The retirement we thought we were going to have doesn't look so good now.

I've been trying to supplement OH's meagre sick pay with Ebay sales. Some good some not to so good but the postage is a b*gg*r

May have missed the post but do we have a name for JWIL Jnr.j

Nice to see you again retired :) Sorry to hear about your OH, I hope things improve for you both soon.

The postage is a shocker now isn't it. I've still managed to mess up a few things - I've given quite a lot away recently  :o

I'll pm you about baby jwil.

If any of you internet aunties are on facebook and would like to be 'friends', pm me. The only rule is no discussion of MSE related stuff :D

    Hi jwil

Great to read how well you're getting on and still working on those goals!!

I have been AWOL..too much work in RL..but back now!

Reusables are FAB FAB FAB. We used a variety when DDs were small but then quickly settled on pre folds...which eventually got used for 5 kids ( not all mine!!) and I still use them for mopping up, as floor cloths etc. We saved heaps of cash... So suggest you try. And as for the nursery..that's a stupid rule. Why?

Hope you get to £3k. Great goal to have. The ebay sales are going badly for me but just keep on relisting...have a few watchers this week on most of the items..so here's hoping.

    Take care x

Thanks Brizzle :) Nice to see you again! Hope all is well with you.

I'll definitely be using the reusables, I do love them (or at least the one I was successful with!). The nursery wont accept them as they don't have room to store them. (I imagine there's a hassle factor as well). It's a shame, but I can still use them out of hours.

Have got a few more bits listed today, but not as much as I'd hoped due to a grumpy baby. Will have to try tomorrow. Hopefully he will settle tonight.

    Hope everyone is well. :)

 Hello everyone :) It's been ages since I posted!

I've been very busy, keeping on plodding along. I don't get a lot of time free, so that which I do is generally taken up with trying to get bits done rather than posting on here sadly.

I've been listing on ebay, and have had quite a few sales as well. DH has sold a fair bit as well. That's all good.

We sold at 5 car boots over the last two weekends, so cleared quite a bit of stuff. A lot of which we've had for a while so we were very pleased about that.

The house still seems to get worse rather than better though

Little jwil is doing well, he's a little cutie if I may say so myself :D He had his jabs today. It was like a conveyer belt at the docs, and there were loads of screaming babies. Poor little man looked so worried before we went in! He wasn't impressed either :(

I hope everyone is well. I'm still lurking on everyone's diaries, so apologies for not replying.

Retired - I hope you and your OH are well if you are reading.

peaceandfreedom, LAM and happy - if you are reading as well, I hope all is well with you all.

Oh my word, it's been ages since I've last posted! Had to really hunt for my diary. Not good!

I've still been busy, but we've had visitors so I've been otherwise distracted and was trying to get the house semi presentable for them.

Have still been listing away and we've cleared out quite a bit. it still never seems to go down though!

I've listed another load today on ebay so fingers crossed for some sales.

I've been a bit spendy recently so I need to reign that in and get that income increased. I'm on lower wages now so need to be careful. I am also determined to stay off until next year so it is imperative I get on with this.

I keep saying this, but I am going to try and post again regularly and will have a think about some targets.

Hope everyone is well, and I will catch up with everyone's diaries soon!

    Ooh yes we love targets:T:T;)

Hope everything is going well..have to say MSE can be a full time job so hardly unexpected that you have been 'spendy'...don't be too hard on yourself.

Ebay has been a nightmare and postage shocking. Would almost prefer to give it away and as OH says..not buy any new stuff!!:D
