Our snow has gone overnight which is a relief but everything is soaking wet. I must go and see what damage there is and if anything is flowering.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Morning all
Snow has gone here too.
Hex have your mogs been playing how many muddy footprints can you do in one jouney like mine? I'm sure they spend all night long trying to out bid each other and finding a clear space for their paws, actually I thought I'd done all the surfaces but there is mud all over my desk too.
Just having a cuppa, then WM to go on, shower to have and floors to mop.
Plan is ebaying
Governor prep for the next 2 days
Encourage homework to be done
Badminton runs
oh and of course next week's list! One of the reasons for not always having rooms on the same day is because lots of us run out of steam before the end of the week (is even is sight for some!).The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I'm lurking about, house is looking ok, on a major decluttering mission. Not flying as such but keeping on top of it.
Job hunting is my priority right now!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Good luck with the jobhunting g&b!
Snow gone here - we have sunshine/showers and a stiff breeze - and it's fantastic - until the floods come.....
I can't bear to watch the tennis - I'll go and sort the washing out....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Good luck GnB
Dusty - yes, especially Ella who climbs a lot (including up the ladders into high sleepers), she also plays in the bath. I regret white bedding atm.
CY - you were right about 30 day shred - my knees are dead.
I can't hoover till the wet dog paw prints go either.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Welcome LittleBit - speaking for myself I have better weeks and worse weeks, and things that come up and am no model Flylady. The great thing about being on here though is that everyone is supportive of anything you do, and you can always join in an HHC (Half Hour Challenge) when someone suggests one, and then you have the thought that someone somewhere is helping you along.
Didn't wake up until 10.38 this morning - very bad. I had slowly worked my way back to waking at 9.00 am. Speaking to the Doctor next week, so I'm going to have to see if something can be tweaked with the meds.
Aims for today are to do the 3 things on my ironing pile, sort out some admin, and then hopefully bake a cake and some biscuits. The rest of the day is mine ........ or at least until I have to make dinner for Mr B's return home at 8.30 pm tonight.
See you later.Work is not my Hobby0 -
I have tennis on TV and radio so I can fly round the house and keep up with the score.
The washing has been breeding so I need to attack that as a priority. DH is assembled a beef casserole in the SC. ive cleaned all the upstairs windows (had to get teenagers out of bed somehow.)
I have 13 days off work starting Wednesday so I have no excuse not to make level 2 this week and Level 3 w/c 3rd Feb.
The snow has gone so I'm going to start walking the littlies to and from school again. I hope the rain stays away but it always seem to start at 8.30 and 2.45!0 -
Morning all  I'm back
I've had the week from hell this week, work wise, with mega overtime and additional jobs, so I'm just catching up on the thread from page 8  Got as far as page 15 and have to admit defeat.
Great news that your home now skint
I hope flying husbands have good news with their work situations soon.
For anyone else I have missed, I apologise, but if I sit on here reading all morning (yes, I'm still in bed!!!!!) then nothing will get done, however as it is my first day off since last Sunday, I am making the most of it.:rotfl:
Tummy is now rumbling so will go and tackle that and make a start on flying. Won't follow a list though but just potter around in general, wiping, collecting, washing as I go.
Sun is out now and the snow has melted, so might take the woofer out in a bit - haven't walked him AT ALL this week - thank goodness to OH, I say!
Have a lovely day everybody.

froddington wrote: »Any chance I could have a peek at the list please? Also, GI (I think?) - are you still selling some vinyl?
Yes, it was me! What sort of things are you after? It is my DH's collection that we are selling (I don't really have much of a collection to sell!) It is an interest of his, but they are never played and we need the money! Some of them have NEVER been played! We listed more on ebay yesterday - have some watchers but nothing has actually gone yet. He has things like U2, Simple Minds, the Smiths, All About Eve, the Mission, Tears for Fears - that sort of era (if that helps) There are loads of others, so if there is something you are after, PM me
BIL & SIL came over yesterday as we needed to talk to them, and things have been very strained between DH & his bro (he owes them money, which had caused some problems for them). We are all friends, and they were very supportive. This conversation had been playing on DH's mind as he said today was the first day for a long while that he didn't wake up feeling sick! The doc has given him some AD's that he hasn't collected yet (stupid doctor just dished them out without discussing it ). SIL (who has some experience with AD's) has said that it would be a good idea to take them while waiting for the counselling as the 2 go hand in hand. He will collect them tomorrow, and speak to the pharmacist as well.
I feel bleaughI have a stonking headache, and feel a bit queezy & dizzy. I may take some parrots and go for a lie down (DH has stripped the bed, but never mind!)
Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them0
