I'd say tea and crumpets would be fine Bossy; the cake looks awesome by the way!

Been out tonight and then finished my last typing job of the week. I know we don't need to fly on the weekends but wanted to put up a list for me. Off to bed shortly - see you either over the weekend or on the new thread.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clean floors

Freaky Friday - Frightening Kids Rooms and Spare Rooms
    Level Two

Vacuum floors (even if it's around the rest of the junk)
    Level Three
Dusting - all those flat surfaces which have become fuzzy!
    Clean window, sill and frame

Extra tasks, if you have extra time and want to do more, you could try one of these

    • 15 minutes ironing

    My jobs:
    WM – whites
Take DD riding at 9.15, collect at 3.00 (staying to help). Take packed lunch
    Homework with DD and DS
    Vacuum right through
    Chooks
    Walk Pip
What’s for dinner: pork chops, mash and vet
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting

So jealous, I want to see a cuckoo :p

Big Bird Watch this weekend join in if you can

I've got it marked on the calendar! Ooh, I've never seen a cuckoo. Saw something I didn't recognise this week; on looking it up I think it was a blackcap. Our new visitors, the redpolls have come a few times now - 3 of them.

Flying wise, well I just don't know where the week has gone! But it is true that once you do a few blitzes here and there, the house does stay nice for longer. I keep looking around for serious hot spots and it's all not too bad. I'm beginning to believe that it's true; flying does eventually mean that you spend less time on housework :T
Lots of the exercise flying today; did Pilates and Body Attack then was reminded by OH that a hay delivery was arriving, so helped him move 56 bales.
    - had guitar lesson and instructor mentioned that she was interested in collecting vinyl LPs so I told her we had a list 4 pages long hoping to declutter. She's probably rolling around laughing by now as I sent her the list!!! But would be great if I could offload some.
    - spent ages searching to renew travel insurance. Although OH is very fit now and not on medication, he had a heart valve replacement 5 yrs ago and it's a nightmare to explain to insurance companies that he doesn't have a "heart condition" as the offending item has been replaced. Much as I appreciate Topcashback and search engines etc, you can spend ages.
    - started to organise paperwork to see new student who I had to cancel last week due to snow. In fact she has emailed me to ask if her partner can join the lesson so I'm really encouraged that I may be able to consider my master plan to go freelance some time. Have also got an assessment to do on Tues
    - I've at least done a few surveys this week; they pile in so quickly I just can't keep up. Must get a wiggle on as I generally take the payment in Amazon vouchers for the Kindle.
    - Have also scampered on with making photobook before special offer expires on 31st.

Well! DS decluttered to Tideswell and now the snow has fallen so heavily that there is little chance of him coming home unless we get the promised thaw!

Went to mr. T's in town in the week and bought 1 item; this triggered a £4 off a £30 spend till spit so we went and spent (just) after dropping DS; the DD and I had a chinese and I have done some more knitting - wristwarmers from a Prima pattern. DD is very pleased.
Oh! Looks like the snow has hit the sky dish - signal's gone. it was CLEAR on my drive/car - we now have a DEEP covering. I could lean out of the window and brush it off...

The heron, BTW, was flying - very distracting when you're driving!

    All ironing done.

    Morning,
Loads of snow overnight here. We are due rain and a thaw tonight though. Not sure it's worth trying to get to dancing this morning. It's worse than last week, and there was only 2 there last time. Might be ok for football though. It's closer and later.

So, this morning we might play out a bit. Might be our last chance in the snow...

Need to change my bed today. And find something to put "the cake" in to transport it safely...

    Morning all

OGM the sky has returned to pale blue and there is a glimmer of sun. Still a fair bit of thawing to go on but the melt has commenced.

Not much planned this weekend but it is free listing on ebay so I will aim to do a bit of that at some point and the bathroom needs cleaning too.

First a few bills to pay.

    Oh heck, dusty!

Sunshine and blue skies here too. Football in an hour. Just negotiating with DS what I expect of him, and what he can expect in return, lol. He sort of joins in, but won't take his turn when it comes to the skills bit. So, to reside him to do it, I've said he can play "build a train" on my iPad this afternoon. He says and can I have some sweeties too? Or a jelly string? Lol. He's not daft my boy.

Anyway, car and drive cleared. We did attempt a snowman, but its the wrong kind of snow, lol, not sticking together. So we've had brunch, and done kitchen dailies. I need to get changed, I'm in the scruffiest pair of knitted leggings with my leg warmers. I can't be seen out like this :D I look like sadsack.

Hope no-one is adversely affected by the melting snow (hugs)
