Warning you may not want to read if eating.

One handed flying here today. Some clear, slightly sticky liquid burst out of my finger bump last night (I have arthritis ). I can hardly bend it now and it is very painfull. I can't get in the doctors until next week. It is slightly warmer than other finger.

dancemum it sounds like you have an infection in it, cant you ring again and ask for a phone consultation, if it is infected it wont clear without ABs and over the weekend could get really painful
hugs as its sounds really painful

Dancemum (((HUGS))) I've got a lump like that on my right index finger, hurts like the very devil if I catch it.. I think MrsMP is right, call the GP surgery again and don't take "no" for an answer. Sticky liquid + warmer than the other fingers sounds worrying to me.

I agree with Mrs MP dancemum.. Definately needs attention. Is your pharmacist any good? Mine tells me when a drs appt is necessary.

So cold. The cat is sitting on any lap she can, littlies included.

Got a letter from school. DS2 has gone up a set in the 3 important subjects. His head of year is putting him forward for student of the week. Very happy.

My sister phoned. She is moving to China at Easter for 4 years. Very unhappy.

Flying wise I've s/s the kitchen and collected laundry from all upstairs.

The HHC has just taken me almost an hour!
I'm underestimating how long things take by a long shot!

Apart from when I vacuummed a sofa recently, this has happened to me every time I've joined in with anyone else's HHC. I'm going to adopt your idea and set a beeper in future.

Dance Mum I'm not quoting you in case someone's eating, but OUCH! Please phone your GP's surgery as suggested.

Two loads washed and dried, and my letter is in the local paper. I'm trying to get the powers that be to declutter the cars parked on the pavements overnight. I have to walk the dog down the road in the dark now, there are so many overnight. I'm particularly cross about it because local councillors won't return phone calls, (they all live in another ward!) and friends who pay and display get a ticket if they overstay their welcome. Traffic wardens and police ignore cars on pavements because both groups say it the other's responsibility.
    Better is good enough.

    I've seen a HERON today...

popped back here for lunch, washed cat litter tray while the soup was warming up and pegged out washing - flannelette sheets - and they've dried.

Back now. Going to shower shortly, then I can slip cleanly between my sheets later;)

Been to pharmacy they said there is nothing I can do myself so I'm waiting for a doctor to ring me (triage) as my surgery don't do urgent appointments any more. Thanks for your replies.

I put it off as heavy snow is forecast.

Pots, sort of washed and Ds1 & 2's dinner made.

They're fab aren't they! We get them in our garden sometimes because we've got a pond, they can't get at the fish thankfully :-)
