  • :) Morning all,

Daily stuff done and all rooms straight (except study! will need to do a lot of HHC's in there.... 27 fling boogie later perhaps...

Managed HHE (school cycle) was still very cold but feel much better for it :)

Looking at Fridays list I think I'll get off quite lightly as DD's will strip and change their own beds tomorrow and dust/hoover their own rooms; I'll help youngest DD and probably need to nag eldest DD ;)

Dinner planned (HM pizza so bread maker set up to go and HM pizza sauce defrosting).

Off out to a friends for coffee and cake in a few mins and couple of hours studying this afternoon.

Have a good day all x
  • Good morning everyone:jhope you`re all keeping warm.

Well I kept myself warmed up yesterday by doing my flying. I managed to get all my planned flying done and carried on to both the monsters rooms. It was dark and grim in there:eek::eek:, but I got there in the end:T.

I feel much better for having a slightly more cleaner and organised home :D.
Just need to tackle the dreaded conservatory, with it`s resident spiders:eek:. Wish me luck please.

Bossy It sounds as though you're having a bit of tense morning. Is there anything on your To Do list today that might be a bit tricky to tackle? Hugs all round.

Slow flying day here. Dog walked, a whole pot of coffee greedily decluttered and although snow has been forecast for several days, it's now raining. So OH's bits and pieces that need washing have to go in the TD later as he's off on another work-related trip.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning All

Hope you are all well & staying safe in the snow, we still have very little here.

I certainly made up for the CBA on Wednesday night last night, I was like a wee tornado! As well as doing all the things on my list I swallowed a few frogs :-

Sorted out all the ironing into piles, throwing out anything that was too small for kids. The pile didn't look as big after that & the duvet covers take up a lot of room.

Cleared out & tidied all the shelves on my wardrobe & threw out things I know I wont wear again – I was ruthless, just need to go through the hanging stuff now!

Ironed from 6pm until 8.45!!! Ironing pile is now looking more maneagable especially as its all sorted, I plan to have it all done by Sunday night!

I realised yesterday what a difference it makes to finish at 3pm instead of 5, kids fed by 4 & gave me a few hours before any clubs/baths/lunches to be made up.

I am 8-5 Monday –Thursday next week & on holiday Friday to see DS at his Burns Supper in school so flying will probably not be as organised.

I plan to spend most of the time in the playroom before CBB comes on tonight, won't get in until after 6 by time i collect kids, hopefully they will have eaten at their Grans (probably not thought, they prefer dinner in their own house) the playroom is the ROD its actually more of a box-room-rather large cupboard in the eves but kids have a tiny sofa, toys, tv & dvd's etc, funnily enought they only "play" in it when its tidy.

Best go get some work done now, not had time to catch up with fred so hugs spoons etc where needed, TTFN X

Sorry folks, nothing up, just little ones being a big pain. But they are now being dunked at the pool by granny and gramps (and taken for lunch after). So I have been busy:

Had a sort in boxes in conservatory.
Tidied loft and stacked Xmas boxes to corner.
Whizzed round kids rooms, not a lot to do.
Got cake in oven. First half has crumbled oops :o
    Collected dry clothes.
Booked us all in at dentist.

Just doing a round up of the week, while I have my cuppa, then I might go lay on my bed (ALONE!!!) and so some stitching to chill for a bit.

If its gone, its done (or isn't going to get done!)

Clean oven - because I know it wasn't on the list last week
Clean dishwasher, cooker hood (if washable) and tumble drier filters
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    Check fire alarms are working
Clean/wash the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner.

Ooh not too bad. [STRIKE]Had a letter that at the ned of the month my ISA rate is dropping to 0.25%! Hmph. So I'm off to find a better one. I might even look for a fixed rate if they are better, as this is money I'm trying not to spend...[/STRIKE] done!

Flying gives you wings - no bulls (red or otherwise) round here :p
Oh, I wouldn't be so sure; Mr LW talks a heck of a lot of bull when he's had a couple of whiskies.:rotfl:

I just realised, I thought I hadn't left the bungalow since last Friday; but we went to see The Hobbit on Sunday, so I haven't left the bungalow since then.:o It just seems like such a l-o-n-g time ago; and I'm useless with keeping track of passage of time in any case.

Megan's here:T But I'm under strict instruction (from the dog-sitting boss lady) to just exercise her in the garden while there's a lot of ice on the pavements, because she's a puller, and could cause the mobility buggy to slip on an icy pavement. Mr LW will be here tomorrow, so he can take her out for a proper walk (she's elderly, so doesn't go far in any case) and we'll see what the ice situation is by Sunday.

Flying-wise, I already did today's room yesterday, and this morning I've washed two bath towels and 23 skanky hankies:eek: - with the aid of the WM, of course!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    What is ski cake?

    This is

We buy it in Czech if we go skiing and eat it when we get back to the apartment, hence I call it ski cake. You can get it in Lidl here :D
