DH is buying some white vinegar so that I can try it out on our acrylic shower screen - thanks for the tip, LW! I assume it works well on windows too? What sort of cloth do you use for it?
It certainly does; it's all I use on the shower screen, windows and mirrors nowadays. I've put my white vinegar in an old @stonish spray bottle for ease of use. Cloth-wise, I use whatever I pick up from the clean rags box - usually either a retired hanky or a piece of one of Mr LW's worn-out shirts.:D The material from his thick winter shirts does a good job - he insists on cotton only shirts, and the winter ones are like flannelette in texture; they make lovely cleaning cloths when they're no longer fit for wear.:o

I've done all the reachable surfaces in the bedroom and the spare room, and tidied up the crates of supplies, so the spare room is as tidy as I can get it, ready for Megan's luggage to be stashed in there (guests bring their own food and treats).:o

Mumof2 - at least the Doc is doing something so thats a good thing, hugs for you x

Kiddies collected and snacks scoffed, toasted waffles - they smell lovely but I'm resisting!

Need to go and do some washing up now and my need for Coffee is becoming overwhelming so I'd better satisfy myself with a cuppa :]

    Evening all :D

Haven't caught up with thread properly, just skim read so hugs, spoons etc to all.

I actually had all my dailies done and dusted by 9am this morning! The advantage of getting up at 6.30 with DD for school ;) I then spent 5 hours ironing today  I also discovered that I haven't cleared the pile in a month as our Christmas clothes were still in there :o Oh well, its all done now and I don't plan on letting it get that bad again as my back and feet are now really sore :(

Time for me to make tea, and do some paid stuff. Deadline is 10pm so I best shift myself.

Evening. We are all above stairs and in our pj's. I will go back down when the tots are in bed, though. I "made" some sugar free gingerbread latte syrup, mmm, want another milky coffee before bed. And I need to find a home for the cooked gammon. It's enormous.

Have put washing away and sorted nursery bags, they were fit to burst as I just shoved in more and more dry clothes "in case". I've also decluttered a kitchen drawer and the hall baskets. Found some sunhats :o in the bottom of one. Now in their proper homes.

Right, off to scrub some..... Little teeth! :D

Im just stopping in before I go and bath the kids, and Im stopping to say another quick thank you!And tell you how excited I am after today.I just didnt stop. And it wasn't because I frantically kept thinking "I must get this done!I must get this done!" It was simply,I am seeing a result Ive wanted to see for ages but havent (And I am the official definition of "the prodigal flybaby", so I do know this feels very different to the crash and burn Im accustomed to).

I didnt get to playgroup today, I left the house 20 minutes late and slipped on an already tender ankle, then I got in the car to discover there was no petrol in the car.So I went down to Asda, filled the car up and nipped in for milk and the other essentials.

I cam home and say down at my desk and wiped down all the bits with some wipes that were nearby. Then I looked at my sewing desk next to me (or not the desk), and my cubes to the right (I have one of those "mini office" desks from ikea with loads of storage cubes. I got a bin bag and stared filling it up.I "only" managed to turn 4 into 2,and I got out 2 nappy boxes to tidy the sewing table and didnt need either as everything I thought was going to go into them, went into the bin. I even discovered I have box full of books that can go onto Ebay...did you know that weight watchers recipe binders start at £5?

Im going to get the kids into the bath and clean in there whilst Im up there, will update my list and catch up once they're all in bed.

    Have a lovely evening ladies:)
