Bonnie, I hope you will now have the confidence to report them to EH before someone becomes seriously ill.

Muppet here just got myself a massive burn on my arm.. do not put an oven shelf on your naked flesh.. it makes it red and a wee bit sore.. bizarrely it doesn't actually hurt.. must be it is too big to hurt lol.

My stuff mostly packed for the weekend, OH being an @r$e already, if he doesn't want to go why does he not just say so?! It isn't like I'll complain is it.

DW needs 1 more run and we may be up to date with pots.. 4 runs through and it is looking much nicer in there. Lots of laundry again though :(

  • Evening all;

Just having a quick read through and wondering what are the 'spoons' and 'sticks' all about?...

I didn't do very much studying this afternoon/evening and was feeling a bit fed up and disappointed with myself but as DH pointed out, the two hours I did do is two hours more than I've done in over a week! I just need to keep an eye on my flying time and put 'study for 4 hours at the top of the list each day.

    Cake x
  • Well the front room continues to look like a midden, but there is always next week :rotfl:

Main bedroom on the other hand looks great, even the houndies beds have been washed - much to their disgust :D

Landing looks a bit suspect but that will be sorted tomorrow when the bathroom is completed - an easy one for me as it is small and too bad.

Still a day behind but hey ho it will sort - thanks for the inspiration to start being organised again all x

Lou Cake - look at the first post for a link about spoons. Sticks are for black dogs (depression).

Only managed laundry, shopping and dailies really but have done a HHC in the RoomofDoom, another one tomorrow will see progress being made.

Need to do a bit of paperwork now so I'll just check DS3 has stopped reading and then settle to that.

Bonnie - well done, what was the response to your resignation

Skinty - wishing you and Holly a happy and restful first night at home

Haven't done much flying this week, maybe my wings need checking?
BUT bedroom got good tidy up as had to pack for week end away for work.. Most of clothes I'm taking were in piles to put away, so easy to pack.
Long journey tomorrow. Youngest dd wants me to pop to see her in Exeter. I'm near Gatwick and am having to pick someone up from Bristol on my way to Cardiff! Dd at Uni but her bf and she have just split up and shes in need of Mummy cuddles.....
Well one day, she'll be too big to want them!
