  • I would say no due to having to sort you and yours out already - it's her child surely she should be making time to prepare food they will eat! That or let them eat school dinners!

I would also say if you were happy to do it you should first and foremost sort out a daily or weekly rate as from the sounds of it it would be food from your cupboards not hers plus the cost of your time for both making the food and delivering it.

I would think her too cheeky to respond any way than to laugh at her request if I'm honest! Unless she offered to pay straight up and was collecting them herself/wasn't out of your way!

You've offered to show the cheeky mare how to make the food, & I don't think that she can expect any more from you. Just tell her straight that we all have exactly the same amount of time & hers is no more precious than yours. I wouldn't buy her the book either as I have a feeling that you'll be wasting your money. Good luck!

One of my friends that I went to school with has a child that hardly eats anything her mum gives her.

Last weekend they came over and I made up a Bento box and we were surprised as she eat all of if, now her mum has asked me if I can make her daughters daily lunch and drop it of in the morning's before school.

I told her I 'll show her how to make the food look pretty ect and she just said she hasn't got the time or patience.....I haven't got time to do all of this I feel under pressure.
I'm thinking of buying her the book which will have clear instructions but I have a feeling that this will not be good enough as my friend can be a bit sharp and think everyone should dance to her fiddle.

    A friend....are you sure

    hard one but.
No it's not, Just Say No.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • she hasn't the time or the patience for her own child? Tell her to make time.
You have kindly offered to show her how to sort her own childs lunches and she is just too lazy to be bothered. Tell her you are too busy to sort her child out aswell! Lazy trout she is!

    Really - no it isn't.

    no i guess its not,
my friend unless she was desperate
would never have asked me to do so
cause she could not be bothered.

If you are making up lunch for your own children and it wouldn't be much extra work I would do it but would tell her that she has to pay for it the same way as she would pay for school dinners but you want the money either a week or month in advance £2.50-£3 a day depending on what you prepare.

Has she offered to pay you?

The bloody cheek of it!

I think your offer to show her how to do it/buy her a book was a kind gesture, and one she should take you up on.
