My friend want's me to make her child's lunch everyday

One of my friends that I went to school with has a child that hardly eats anything her mum gives her.

Last weekend they came over and I made up a Bento box and we were surprised as she eat all of if, now her mum has asked me if I can make her daughters daily lunch and drop it of in the morning's before school.

I told her I 'll show her how to make the food look pretty ect and she just said she hasn't got the time or patience.....I haven't got time to do all of this I feel under pressure.
I'm thinking of buying her the book which will have clear instructions but I have a feeling that this will not be good enough as my friend can be a bit sharp and think everyone should dance to her fiddle.
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    how bl00dy rude of her!

just be straight with her, and say you havent got the time, and that its not YOUR responsibility to make HER child a packed lunch.

I would send her the link to the book, dont buy it for her!

good God, some people amaze me!

hard one but i would say you cant as you aint got time.
if she is your friend she will understand.
if the little one dont like her mums food maybe school dinners.
think i am in the minority i liked school dinners they were better
    than my mums food.

LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT
  • It'd be a no-brainer for me, I'd just say 'no, I haven't got time'.

Cheeky mare expecting you to make her kid's lunch, and made even more cheeky by her saying she hasn't got time!

Failing that, you could say fine, but you'll need to sit down with her to work out a daily rate for catering for her child.

Next time she mentions it, laugh very loudly and say (also very loudy), "You've got to be JOKING - like I have time to do that! Make your own child's lunch, lazy bones!"

    Job done.

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
