My friend want's me to make her child's lunch everyday

@fluffnutter she asked for me to do it on school days and drop it of in the morning's.
I don't doubt it. What I find odd is that you said you don't see why your friend or her husband can't find time to do a lunch like the one you did! They're not everyday lunches are they? And surely you realise you've got a bit of a talent? If I attempted that, I could spend all morning fiddling around and Hello Kitty would still look disabled."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
advertising for birthday parties and things like that should get you some business. Just out of curiousity (I don't have children and am happy to have a cheese piece myself) how much does it cost you to make one like that and how much time?
It can range from £5 onwards depending on the size of the box the food style e.g adult theme or child cartoon theme and the type food you want in it.
I can get a small box done in 30 minutes.

I absolutely hope you're NOT going to do this.
I don't even think an explanation is needed as to why you shouldn't.0 -
Wow op that looks amazing you should def think of starting your own business, kids parties a def!
This is similar to what I made and I don't see why my friend or her husband can't find time to do it.LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT

£5 & 30 mins for a lunchbox? Behave
What do you mean?
I would guess that by the time you cost out the food and your time (even at £5 per hour which wouldn't be much) and insurance, cost of registering with LA etc. etc. you are pricing yourself out of a market as would need to be looking at around £10 per box minimum to make it viable and I'm not sure people would pay.Because she's using her daughter to try and make me feel guilty.
Then don't let her! Why would you feel guilty about someone else's child not eating. Also, as a parent, I would say kids are very fickle and just because she ate it once doesn't mean she would ever eat it again.0 -
Just saw the piccies of the lunch box. They are truly a work of art - and quite honestly I can understand why your friend says she hasn't got time. (which doesn't mean you have).
Blimey o Riley though. No wonder her child doesn't want to eat her fish finger if she sees her friends fancy packed lunch.0 -
You've told us your side of the story. Do you owe anything to your friend. There must be a reason why she feels that she can ask you (expect of you) such a favour? Also, the above picture, it's fantastic if you are doing it professionally but if you are making it every day as a lunch box, then you're wasting your time. There is no need for that.0
