One of my friends that I went to school with has a child that hardly eats anything her mum gives her.

Last weekend they came over and I made up a Bento box and we were surprised as she eat all of if, now her mum has asked me if I can make her daughters daily lunch and drop it of in the morning's before school.

I told her I 'll show her how to make the food look pretty ect and she just said she hasn't got the time or patience.....I haven't got time to do all of this I feel under pressure.
I'm thinking of buying her the book which will have clear instructions but I have a feeling that this will not be good enough as my friend can be a bit sharp and think everyone should dance to her fiddle.

Someone who makes you scared to speak your mind isn't, IMO, a proper friend.

How rude to expect this of you and because she 'hasn't got time or patience'.

If you we're truly concerned about your child's eating habits, you'd find time and patience to get a healthy diet into them. That said, not many would have the time to make such fancy lunches - they look ace but they must tie ages!

Don't feel pressured - though I understand you probably want to help the child, the child isn't your daughter and you've helped and offered to help teach her - she's choosing not to take that lead and instead pushed onto you.

    Hope it works out!

@fluffnutter she asked for me to do it on school days and drop it of in the morning's.

Hi OP, like everyone else says, no way should you do this for your 'friend', I can't believe the cheek of some people.

When she mentions it (like she's bound to), say 'Oh, I thought you were joking, I'd never have time to do that!' and leave it with her.

    Damn cheek!!

I will take this advise and hopefully she will change her pushy ways.

Op you say youre thinking of doing it as a business, could this be an oppurtunity to have a regulsr client with a daily order? Otherwise I agree shes out of order to expect you to do it out of the goodness of your heart.

How do lunches like that survive the rough-and-tumble of being carried to (and possibly around) school in a bag?

There packed tight so they don't move :)

No hun not with her as she always wants everything for free and never wants to put her hands in her pocket.

I was thinking of doing this as a business but only for special occasions. :)

advertising for birthday parties and things like that should get you some business. Just out of curiousity (I don't have children and am happy to have a cheese piece myself) how much does it cost you to make one like that and how much time?
