    Morning all.

Doing well today - I have finished hoovering the living room,

Lil-me the cat had tried to catch a fly on the window which is surrounded by seedlings/young plants! DS3 was screaming naughty girl get down! Soil everywhere but not a broken plant, lucky hoover was still out:rotfl:

Cooked pancakes for the kids breakfast as kitchen was lovely and tidy/clean so didn't mind being in there. Washing up all done.

Off to shower now and s&s then to pond with DS3 to release the frogs back (tadpoles)

Wrap present and take DS3 to party

    Dust/wet wipe living room

    Finish ironing

Tesco coupon shop and little browse in Habitiat for things I could not find in IDEA.

Roast lamb and rhbarb crumble for tea.

Have a good day flyladies Dusty x

One load of washing done, was raining when it finished so I hung it upstairs. Bright now and windy so I've dragged it all off the line and put it outside. Hope it dries.

Just starting dinner. I'm the only one up (as usual) so I expect they'll be calling theirs breakfast :D

At least I get the newspaper first if I'm up first.

    Morning everyone,

I didn't get alot done yesterday apart from my dailies. We were up and out of the house at 8:30 for dd's swimming lesson, then to Sam, the butchers, and Ian, the greengrocers for our weekly fresh stuff. When we arrived back mil & pil* were here wanting dh to go with them to look at some houses. Their bungalow has finally sold after being on the market for 2 years! So, now they're looking for somewhere closer to us :D

Had to do dinner early as dh was going out to play a gig and needed to leave just after 5pm. He came back at 2am, i was still awake as I can't sleep till he comes in and the littlies woke me at 6:30am:eek:
Dh is just getting up now so I guess we'll decide what we're doing today when he surfaces.

Well, the chicken dinner is in the slow cooker and all my dailies are done but I'm sure they'll be something else to do soon!

*I know most folk say fil not pil but it's pa-in-law to me as my inlaws are from the NE. I have called them mil & pil for the last 17yrs and my mil called her inlaws mil & pil for 50 years before that. So, despite alot of folks thinking they're internet/text abbreviations they've been around along time already.;)

Morning all, well here goes what is left.

Great news with the bungalow sale HopeElizzy, my parents have been trying to sell theirs for over a year now and getting frustrated. (Due to seperation unfortunately)

Have put lamb shoulder in SC as I know I will be busy later, hope it turns out ok, something I have never cooked before at all, have cut a massive chuck off as it was huge and frozen that ready to make a lamb casserole. Butcher talked me into it, he's good at making me try new things, think it'll do us for a fair few meals. Just no idea what to do with it so will have a look for some inspiration in a mo.

Again I haven't managed to post as internet not working, OH has been away but is back tonight so guess what he is spending his bank holiday fixing!

Looking at lil_me's list i have been around about level 2 most days but have been able to slot in so of my own jobs unfortunately the master bedroom was not one of them so that has to be tackled this week. i have almost finished sorting out the girls clothes - DD1 to keep for DD2 and DD2 to sell or pass to charity - I will feel better once this has been finished and i have my dining room back again.

It's sunny and windy here so two loads of washing out I think rain is due later so hopefully they will dry before it arrives.

Off to investigate buying a slow cooker - I have been thinking about it for a while but might go for the plunge today.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I'm sure you'll investigate all options anyway but I saw an ad this morning for Argos and this weekend (maybe longer?) they have their Cookworks 3.5L one half price for £8.50. No idea how good it is but thought I'd let you know...

    Morning all!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I am working 10-3 today so no much flying done as had lie-in till 8.30. Girls slept all night again (so far everynight this week :j ) but I seem to need to catch up with the 4 years I have missed out on.

After DH attempt and doing pizza dough yesterday  I have taken HM beef curry out of the freezer for me, DH & DD2 (see likes a bit) and some chicken breasts for DD's and will do stir-fry noodles & veg for tea (really looking forward to that).

    Before leaving for work-

    S & S kitchen
    Made beds
Put dirty laundry in WM (not full load yet as kids been wearing dressing up clothes all weekend :D )

DD's should have gone to MIL today but as MIL and NIL (Nan in law) are both full of colds we have said girls have to stay home. DD1 is booked in to have grommits fitted on Tuesday so any sign of a cold and they will not do the op! Means DH has to have them for 3 days this weekend as I am working tomorrow too!

Maralum make sure the visitors look after you. I remember when DD2 was 2 weeks old ending up cooking a roast for us and MIL and NIL, I had had a c-section so was still a bit wobbly (lifting the meat out of the oven was the hardest part) but was trying to breastfeed DD2 at same time as making the gravy. They both sat there and let me do it. DH was NOT happy when he came in from work. So sit on you bum and let the world fuss around you - you deserve it:D .

Weather is yuck here again - where did the sun go??
