Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me... ah the joys of living alone. NOT. Maybe the man at the polling station will sing to me in a bit.?
Tiselfairy, the cakes are only a partial success, the icing has slid on the carrot cake, the fruity flapjack is a bit crumbly, the maltester chocolate thing is a jawbreaker. Still super calorific and they'll appreciate them!
I doubt I'll be flying today, still got to pack for the hen weekend and sort cat sitter stuff out and it's a super early start in the morning - meeting in the bar at Newcastle airport at 6.30 am... Quite...
Hope everyone has a good day doing whatever they're doing today, go show 'em what you're made of!

Morning all! Once again shirleypark, I can't get over how gorgeous your photos are. You are really talented.
Not much to update with really. Still no sign of madam, DH says she's like me - the more you pressure her, the less she'll help!Me, stubborn? Never!
I like doing the bathroom, you can really see the results of your efforts because all of the surfaces are so shiny! So, today will be level three plus dailies and loads of washing. I plan to have a stock of clean, fresh towels etc for when the she-devil makes an appearance. For some reason, the smell of fabric conditioner soothes me.
Hugs to all, have a good day and take it easy if you need to. I'm meeting two different friends for coffe this morning, so I'll be in a rush until about 12! Expect no exciting updates until then I'm afraid.

Happy Birthday Solway :bdaycake:
Morning allto everyone
I've been awake since 6.11am  No idea why, I just woke up with a start and that was that. So I'm washed, dressed, our bed is made, washing put away washing from last night out on the line (did a quick wash as DD's baseball cap needed washing  ), watered the garden, checked email, did DD's lunch/breakfast and I've eaten as wellOH has got a face-on with me as I said I couldn't make him a lunch this morning as I was in the middle of doing a survey
I'm trying to encourage him to be more organised by making his lunch the night before so from now on, unless it's my fault he's running late, he came make his own s*ding packlunch
:rotfl:
Since today is a cheap listing day on ebay I'll be tackling the listings. Photos & titles first then desciptionsI'll post a picture of the pile I gathered yesterday later when I get back from school. But I have to tell you this : Yesterday I found OH's collection of Web User magazines, he has 138 in total and they cost us £188.96:mad: They've been sat under the stairs buried under stuff for months without him even asking where they were  When we added it up he just went "Yeah, so?" I could have flattened him!
Anyways, my list for today :- Dailies
- Beds
- Bathroom S&S
- Dishes
- Kitchen S&S
- WM - quick wash of my decent jeans and underwear - making the most of the nice weather
- [strike]WATER GARDEN[/strike]
- Uniforms for tomorrow
- Evening Meal - pasta carbonara so I can make a packed lunch of pasta for DD for school tomorrow.
- Ironing - Not urgent, so not a problem if it doesn't get done.
- Ebay listings
Right, off to make DD's bed then S&S the bathroom.

I think I'll give this flylady thing a go. Any suggestions where to start and can I have Bermuda as my hotspot?
Sorry folks,
I have visitors all this week and one of them decided that they'd like to help me out by posting for me on this thread.
<THWACK!!>
Mind you - they got Bermuda rightIt's a beautiful place. Every picture or film of it I've ever seen just doesn't do it justice. Definitely my fantasy retirement destination unless I win the lottery first
