Yesterday was a good day for me.

    1. Reduce my debt to my mother to £3500 and pay off my car loan.
Yesterday was payday, so I did the bank account shuffle and put £500 into my savings account, towards paying off a lump sum to my mother (already payback £350 each month). Car loan payment went out today, 2 payments to go !!

    2. Make good progress on getting the dining room finished.
Have hassled the BF to contact the plasterers, and he said he'll do that wednesday after the car goes in for it's MOT.

    4. Get more fit and healthy.
Stuck to my diet :) Am thinking of walking to work colleagues house this morning rather than driving over there.

    5. Pass my exam at the end of July.
Did my morning study session, plus put in my expenses form to get the money back for the exam fees.

100 days to go.......... it is *so* good to have that countdown, I love it. Yesterday for me was working on the springcleaning, it will be that all this week, till my mother arrives. I did pretty well, did a job I really, really wasn't looking forward to - cleaning all the wall tiles in the toilet and the bathroom. Following up today, any work in the kitchen, living room, or hallway is what I need to do, plus cut down the vegetation around the little patio in the front, so that we can sit there - she won't be able to make it to the one in the back, the steps are too difficult.

The house is a bit tidier, and we're bagging up lots of lovely things (aka junk) to sell at a bootsale. Just need to get OH to come with me on Saturday now.

I love the sound of this

My challenge i set out is this.

    Unescessary spends
Stop making Mr tesco man rich
Stop over buying clothes for the kids apart from baby as he is huge and growing so fast i cannot keep up with him (6months old and just now moving into 12-18month clothes)

    Spare Money:rotfl:
    Save to do bathroom
save to get married (keep putting it off because of the cost)
Overpay mortgage once i start back work from additional maternity leave.
Save towards paying off loan early.

    Health Body and Mind

    Eat healthier
    Tone my stomach
Start to be more optimistic again.

    Tidy home tidy mind

    Start to de-clutter
Do a car boot sale to get rid of the clutter.
Sort kitchen cupboards and tops of units far too many utensils that do nto get used.

Can't think of anything else yet but i am sure i will:p

Thanks Honey and Chunky! The interview went ok, I think I did well but it's a case of wait and see, I guess. They had an interview list behind reception though which had 16 names on it for today - and they are interviewing all week . I guess that means that my chances aren't good, which is a shame because the job seems ideal.

On the diet front' we've had pizza and red wine for dinner tonight. Need I say more :rotfl:

    Hi everyone.

It's a couple of days in but I would love to join in. My aims are as follows.

    1) Sort out my budget once and for all. Start putting aside money for all the yearly expences etc.

    2) Lose a stone. I cut down on the junk a while ago and lost nearly a stone but have slipped back recently .

    3) Finish off some of the DIY tasks which I have started. I always get bored half way through and start something else. So finish old tasks and NO new ones.

    4) Popular one this.......Take of my make up every night.

Will have to start from now as have just eaten chocolate.

    Good luck everyone

So only 100 days to go!

I ate a proper breakfast and evening meal but failed to take anything to work to eat or drink. So as usual survived on 3 glasses of water from when I left home at 7.45 till 5.45 when I got home and had a cup of tea. This is my worst fault healthwise - worse for my health than being overweight. This is now my priority to change! No more, just that.

Well I nearly managed. I took a banana and two little oranges into work. I ate the banana but failed with the oranges. One was dry and the other got nicked from my desk. I only had one glass of water though.
On the good side I had an early tea so I did't pick anything before we ate then I went in the garden afterwards so didn't sit in a heap
Have put teabags in my bag for tommorow and a banana.

OKRA - don't be to worried. I interviewed for 5 posts last year. They dropped out as fast as I rang them to say they had the job. In the end I needed to take right down the list till number 22!
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me
