Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

Hi,

I have got an LG G5300i phone that has been given to my husband. It is locked to the vodafone network. I have tried trycktill.com but there is no code for this model.??? Can i unlock this with codes or do i need a cable?

i have a ericsson t610 locked to orange.

I first tried to contact orange who were unable to provide the code as i was not the original sim owner and dont know who is.

Anyway would love another ericcson, as i have to delete all text messages at least once a week on present one because i assume the memory is too small.
Any advice appreciated and if its been dicussed recently just tell me to go away :>

these are easily unlocked by a local shop/market stall.

as for the texts, my mate got an SE k800i and it had around 900 texts on it

thanks, im actually in glasgow tomorrow, where every other newsagent used to offer unlocking. Will give it a try!

I finished my rubbish contract with vodafone and wanted to change to orange but my phone was locked. I searched through websites to see the cheapest option to get it unlocked.
I have now been able to unlock FOR FREE!!!! :j
I sent an email to vodafone asking for the NUC code (network unlocking code) as I had completed my contract and the phone is now my property. They sent it back within 12 hours!!!
I did have to mess about a bit as the instructions they gave did not work but here is what you then do with your NUC code...

1) Put a sim in which is not current supplier and turn on phone. It then comes up "incorrect sim" or similar.
2) depending on the phone you either..
press Left, *, Left, *
or
press Left, *, *, Left

which will take you onto the unlock phone menu.
3) click on this and then type in the NUC code. (take care typing
in your code as you only have five attemps before it is frozen.

Voila! one phone unlocked for FREE!!!
Had to tell you about this as I was about to visit the store and pay
£10 to have this done.

My younger brother was given a Motorola K1 (with box, manuals, chargers etc).

It is currently locked to vodafone but even when i put a vodafone sim in i cant make or receive calls. I can access all the menus and stuff as normal though?? Where it would usually say Vodafone on the main screen it says "Unregistered Sim" ??

Is there any way of unlocking this for use with any uk sim? (can provide imei if needed!)

sounds like its been barred (ie been reported lost or stolen) to me.

even if you get it unlocked, it still wont work
