Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

Hi

I've just bought a Motorola W375 for £25 from Argus, which is locked to t-mobile. Anyone know if it can be unlocked for free ? If not could anyone point me in the direction of a reliable source that could provide me with a code for a small payment?

Hi, this is my first post so a big hello to everyone!

I have a Sony Ericcson K800i and when I went into a local phone shop they wanted £30 to unlock it for me. They said that it needed to be sent away etc etc. I have a data cable that came with the phone and I was hoping that there is a way to unlock the phone using my PC instead of paying the local shop a whopping £30.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a way I can get the phone unlocked for less than £30 - it is a later spec. k800i.

to unlock any sony ericssons, you would usually need a service cable.


you say its a newer k800i, so it may be CID52 and unlocking cid52 handsets will be around £30-£40

If you download a copy of DavinciFlasher.exe, you can connect your cable and detect which CID (security level) code it is, which will give a guide as to the cost of unlocking. If it is locked to Vodafone, then you can do it by remote code.
