its a cable and software unlock, or get the code from orange

Thanks for the quick reply. Where would you say the cheapest place is, Orange or somewhere else?

a local shop/market stall should be able to unlock this for around £5-£10. i think orange charge about £20

BEFORE YOU BEGIN PLEASE ENSURE ALL LOCKS ARE OFF !!!
ie:SIM/PHONE/PIN LOCK
OTHERWISE IT MAY MESS UP THE CODE PROCESS TO DO THIS GO TO YOUR SECURITY MENU AND DISABLE THE PIN SIM AND PHONE LOCK IF YOU HAVE THEM ACTIVATED.
( Use your Original locked network Sim for above )

Please follow these instructions Very carefully


E900 Unlock

1. Turn off your phone, put in any SIM
( Except sim of Locked Network/02/ 3 Network ) Then turn on

2. At the wrong card message, type *#9998*3323#.

i.e ( star/hash/9998/star/3323/hash )

A message will pop up telling you to press exit, Press exit.
Choose malloc fail.
Your phone will reboot and your SIM will work.


3. Type *0141# and then hit call.
This will give you a message saying your phone is personalized.
Then go back to MENU-SECURITY and make sure locks still diabled and ammend if need be. Before going on to next stage.

4. Power down your phone and insert the “Sim you want to use”
( That is any Sim, except for a 3 Network Sim)

Power back up your phone.


> 5. At the SIM code prompt type 00000000, (that is 8 zeroes.) Your

Just managed to unlock my Samsung U600 with the folllowing codes. Thought i'd share it with fellow moneysavers and such like.....Legal Disclaimer and General WarningBefore using the instructions below it is highly recommended that you back up any telephone numbers and ringtones you may have added to the handset's memory. Take out the SIM card from the phone and switch the phone on. 2. Enter the unlock code into your handset.3. Now replace your SIM card and turn the phone on.4.
