  • I'm new to this forum. I have spent most of tonight researching unlocking codes for a motorola KRZR K1 on the internet and have found conflicting info. I have an O2 sim and the phone was a free gift to a friend who is a vodaphone customer. Is it possible to unlock this phone for low/no cost? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
  • Hi,

Yes but not by free code, if you buy an unlocking clip off ebay, clip it into the charger socket and it unlocks in a few seconds then re-sell the clip on ebay and get back the money you paid for it.
  • Ok. Thank you for your quick reply.
  • Just found this on ebay for the Samsung D900i

    Model: Samsung Universal

    TEMPORARY UNLOCK:
Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.

    In newer phones:
    #*7337#

Does this work in the latest phones such as the D900i, Also I have seen an unlock clip for the d900i, has anyone any experience with these?

PLEASE DONT USE THAT CODE (#*7337#) ON NEW SAMSUNG PHONES!!!

you will end up with a blocked/barred phone as it will reset the imei to 15 0's.

unlocking via a clip is much safer
