Thanks for that, but I can't take it anywhere at the moment as I'm in France and it's a French network.

no free way to unlock sony ericssons (unless the phone is on vodafone and you have had it over a year) .

take it to a local shop/market stall. they shouldnt have a problem with the w800i

No free codes for this phone, buy the unlocking clip off ebay, unlock the phone by plugging it into the charger socket, then re-sell the clip on ebay to get the money back you paid for it resulting in a free unlock.
