  • Hi. I'm new here and sorry to barge straight in with a question, but I am at the absolute end of my tether. I have no Orange reception at home or at uni, haven't for months and they're not being at all helpful.. I'd like to change networks and end my contract early, which they might agree to, but I have no idea whether I will be able to unlock my phone.
Does anyone know if it's possible to unlock a Sony Ericsson K700i ?
Would be very grateful for any help
    much thanks
    V

EDIT: many apologies, have just had a look through some of the posts on this thread. So I'm stuck with this cr*ppy network coverage am I? Cos there's no way I can afford a new phone. I can barely afford the line rental for a service I don't receive.

  • ok. Thank you - guess I just have to find one now, huh? :)
I hate being a techno-phobic (sort of) dumb blonde sometimes. Means I have to find a man-who-can.
Ah well. If anyone needs any buttons sewing on or anything... :)

either buy some credit for virgin (£25 i think) and they will give you code or a direct unlock by someone with the correct clip

    Hello!

Just need a few pointers! I've got Motorola V3 on PAYG locked to Orange.

    I have checked this link - http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/motorolaremoteunlock.htm
... and it says my IMEI is not found. So now I'm dubious about trying to unlock it over the net on any other site. What do you think?

And also... does anyone know where I can get it unlocked in the Birmingham area? And roughly how much I am going to have to spend?

    Cheers
    x :D

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
