the other sticky is for NOKIAS only - yours is a nokia

Thank you for this. I followed it exactly---twice---and it said 'wrong code'--twice.
The only thing I did not do was put in the spaces i.e. 301 262 I did 301262
Was that wrong?

you are putting it in correctly put the #PW+ in but not spaces
codes will ony be correct if def on orange

Samsung SGH E810
1) note handset imei (*#06# at any time displays your IMEI - Ignore any slashes and any numbers after the slash, ie should be a 14? digit number)
2) insert the sim-card you want to use in your handset and switch on
3) at wrong card enter *2767*688xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#
(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx = handset imei number)
4) after reboot your sim will work, BUT not after power down

now the trick:

5) enter *0141#
6) press call (green) button
7) now simlock updated to current network

This method was listed on the first page for unlocking a different samsung but worked with my 810, hope it helps others! Try with your samsung you never know!
