I changed my contract from Orange to T-Mobile. (just to get my wife an nice new phone...) I have the Samsung D500 which i got from Orange now I am quite happy with the phone and do not wish to change it, only my service plan to T-Mobile's tariff plan, btw I have read the first posting but still want to check if there is something i've done wrong. Excuse my ignorance...
When the phone starts up it says "Insert Sim" Then i type the this #*7337# ... Must i press "dial" for it to action this? Because if i do it says "Emergency Calls only" Does this mean I am like so many other unfortunate people who have to go to the shop to have it unlocked (for £5-£10?) Or with like some of later versions just exit and go through some other steps?
Thank you in advance for u'r patience and advice
