I no longer have the contract sim card as I got rid of it after the year would I require this or what information do I need when I phone vodaphone?

You will need to give them the phone IMEI number (press *#06#) and you might need the phone number for the contract you were on, they may not need the phone number as they might have it on there records. Also the phone model number.

I know you can pay £20 to do it by Orange but that's too expensive.

There is no free way to do it with a code but there is a way, buy the k800 unlocking clip off ebay and unlock your phone (just plugs into your phone and unlocks in 5 seconds) then relist the clip on ebay and get back what you paid for it. They are £13 p+p included. The item number is

I tried this on my Samsung Z500v and I get "Network Lock: Already Exists" at stage 3. I tried a different SIM and no joy. Still asks me to insert correct SIM card. The code's have done something though because my predictive text dictionary has been reset.

Can someone tell me how I can unlock a Sony Ericsson W300i on Tesco Mobile network please (or point me in the right direction)? IMEI number is 576298-8-03.
