Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's

ok not sure what i am doing got a new siemens ax72 with virgin pay as you go is it poss to unlock it??

O.k I have just contacted a few people and the buttons to hold are the 2 buttons either side of the motorola logo near the top of the phone. Any further help you require feel free to contact me and will do my best to help you.

can you not take it/send it to a shop? any good one will unlock it in 1 minute for about £10.00.

you can do it online but it depends on the bootloader version etc.

no free codes for that phone, it can only be unlocked by testpoint with martech etc.

or if you have spend over £30.00 with virgin they will give it you free.

Thank you so much for that reply.:j I was a bit worried about the 'press star and hash' bit cos that can muck up the phone if I get it wrong, right?

Plus I'm much happier about a tenner rather than £32 quid.

Which sort of shop will fix it or do I need a guy on a market stall?

The small mobile phone shops will do it, there are loads in my area so I guess it will be the same throughout the country, I dont mean the Orange or T-Mobile type shops, the ones that sell second hand mobiles kshould do it for you. If you cant find one give us a location where you live and will find one for you.

Thanks, cant think of any second hand mobile shops in my area although we have loads of CFW, Virgin, T-mob etc (but then doesn't everyone?) We live near Loughborough in the East Mids. Can get to Coalville, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Donnington and all points between here and there.
