Hoping someone out there might be able to help. I have a Motorola RAZR V3 which was on a contract with T Mobile. I have recently cancelled the contract and taken out a new one with a new phone with a different provider. I want to give my old phone to a family member to use with PAYG. What do I need to do with my old phone to be able to do this?
Hope someone can advise.

I'm not sure if you can unlock it for free but as its out of contract t-mobile will unlock it for a fee

A T-Mobile or Virgin PAYG SIM should work fine. For other operators, it will need unlocking.

it can be unlocked, but the cost will vary depending on the security on the phone
