I had a good time. A bit of a wobble when I found I was spending more time on my own than I'd hoped, but it helped too as I really needed some thinking space and I've come back with some new potential ideas. It did me so much good to just be somewhere beautiful and quiet with myself.

As you may have guessed from that, I didn't get to see the lovely man - I did message him and he didn't reply so I was a bit hmph about the whole thing and figured at least I was brave enough to try. And then he messaged me this morning now I'm back! :mad: and someone else has told me my FB messages are doing weird things. So he wasn't avoiding me or not replying and there is still hope I will be going back there anyway because I love the place (and in a way it's good that I decided that separately from anything to do with him) but will be more organised next time and message people further in advance.

I haven't dared add up what I spent yet :eek: - it included four nights in hotels rather than b&b simply because I had left it so late that everything was booked, and of course I was eating out a lot. Tomorrow is payday so I will do all the paperwork and bills stuff tomorrow night and post my confessions

The flat feels very cramped and messy so I have a bit of motivation to go house hunting again now. And I am soooo pleased to have my purring moggies back, my instant chill factor :T ... little one is curled up on my lap and big one is out in the garden but they both came and sat with me earlier while I was reading.

Off to catch up on everyone else's diaries now!

Yay to Rosa being back! We really missed you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your fb messenger messing things up for you! It does that to me at times too, or just decides to accept a message but not bother telling me!

It's lovely to hear you had some proper thinking time though with no distractions as your life seems to be in that right place, and hopefully being able to think about things has helped you formulate more plans.

As for the cats being happy to see you, I'm sure they are, and I don't mean to be a tell-tale, but I got a little picture of one of them a few days ago that I think you should see!
