*shudders* *resolves never to pick up a phone again, just in case it's Kerri on the other end*

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I reserve it only for my 3+ call to resolve something, or if I've been subjected to Greensleeves on hold music for more than 5mins

:rotfl: It wasn't my best effort this time - normally I use my Dragon PA skills in reverse but I think I was noticeably emotionally involved this time. I didn't get to phone Finance today so have just emailed them.

I'm having one of those phases where there just aren't enough hours in the day. I want to study, spring clean, cook properly, do dance practice, sleep enough, socialise, read - and sadly I have to fit working in there too :( ah well will soon have the dissertation sorted and then it will be a while before I have a major exam, so will get there. (I've just found another course I really want to do, am telling myself I have to wait til I've finished the current one!)

Moneywise it's all going a bit downhill - I forgot I have two membership subs coming out this month and although I was prepared to cancel them have decided I really don't want to - they are both good causes and enable time with friends so am just going to live with it and make sure I use them!

Just dashing in to announce that my N0ddle credit report is now showing a full green and happy 5/5 :j

(and it's a very nice feeling, when I saw it I felt like 'ooh people have noticed all that hard work!')

Budget is back on track thanks to over £40 of Ebay sales and realising one of my bills falls due in early June not May. :) Hurrah for fleabay :D:T

Hurray for you! You've done remarkably well and I'm so happy for you.

What course are you itching to take? I'm looking at a few courses myself, but I have a while to go before I can afford both the money and time a course requires.

I hope you're having a great weekend. MTx

And another quick fly-by just to say that the college fees are now finally sorted, and despite all this having been an unbelievable PITA I'm very glad I did keep chasing and stand up for myself. I am now being charged correctly, and paid less than half of what they were trying to charge me before. It's on the 0% card for now and all being well, should be cleared with my June paycheque :)

The dissertation is also going OK - I'm having moments of 'eek' and then remembering that I am actually doing much, much better this time than in previous studies and that I need to be kind to myself after the Big Burnout of the MSc. All being well that will be finished up and handed in next week at which point I shall be celebrating :)

And the budget is still doing OK too, all seems alright for the minute and I'm hoping for a little more from Ebay.

    Plodding continues :)

Glad the fees are sorted Rosa, sounds a big difference to what they were trying to charge you. June will be here before you know it too.

Slow dribble of fleabay sales for me - and still waiting for one person to pay from an auction the ended on Mon (ok it's only Wed but I'm impatient)

Thanks lovely people - yes the fees is fab news as it makes a difference of over £800 and means I can be properly DF 2 months faster.

MT I will PM you re the course - my fields are quite small so explaining on line would pretty much ID me and I am just a little careful about t'internet.

I've had a minor stress wobble today as it's the time of year that really hit the previous burnout and I think something in my brain still just overreacts a bit. However, this year I have just done all I can, prepped it all and handed it over as I have other stuff to get on with :p. There is a minor issue but it's not me who should have identified it earlier nor can I fix it by this point, so hard cheddar.

Anyway I've come home and calmed down and found that I'm quite happy to now start on my dissertation again :rotfl:- so heck, whatever works, I do like the quiet hours for this kind of thing. I've now got all the info I need which is as usual strewn in stacks around the place until hand in, and I've borrowed a binding machine which should hopefully help avoid last minute print shop panic. Am considering buying one as it would really help with tidying up a lot of my papers and even though I will try and scan stuff that can be archived, I will still need things on paper to study through the coming year (and the one after that if I go for the other course too :rotfl:).

Budget wise all is still well, bit peeved at the cost of National Trust membership that just came out but it does get me free car parking for walking so will just have to make sure I use it. Hoping that fleabay sales will happen to help cover it - selling an LKB that I got on there but which doesn't fit me, it may sell at a loss but better to have something back in the budget than nothing. And had a question from a potential buyer which has prompted me to get set up for the fleabay global shipping thing, so hopefully that will widen the pool a bit.

Right, back to essay... hope you lot are having a bit more exciting week than mine!

Fleabay has done well - over £35 of sales and 3 of the 4 have paid already. And I had packaging to hand for two of them so they can go straight away tomorrow - the others will have to wait while I get to Wilk0's tomorrow. Pleased with that as it's another few things out of the house and puts back my unallocated buffer on this month's budget (I know that's not how YNAB work it, but I get uncomfortable when everything's taken up as it feels like the budget is really tight, so now I try to leave £50 or so unallocated for things that come up during the month, even if it means I have to initially cut down some non-essential categories.) I've also started trying to track cash a bit better, so when I know that I spent the cash I took out on eg bus fares or a charity donation I'm entering that into the original transaction as a split.

Essay nearly sorted and I'm looking forward to being clear of it. Pleased that (so far anyway) I've managed to keep the anxiety under better control. I've gone back to using Headspace, and hoping to stick with it better this time - I love to meditate but have always found it difficult to maintain a routine with it - something to work on for a good habit.
