Fingers crossed for the mortgage Rosa - I hated waiting for ours although actually it was only around 3 weeks it felt like eternity! I hope you don't have to wait too long.
I feel your pain re feeling cramped, I was saying the same to DH feels like we are bursting at the seams in this house.
Looking forward to your MFW diary too - hopefully a great start to 2021

Thanks @bellevie, I am already impatient, blaming the broker telling me it should come through reasonably quickly! Yes, hopefully a good start to a new year.

Sunday shuffle time, that came around quickly!I haven't much to add... mortgage still pending, it turns out the hold up this week was a misunderstanding over what valuation was required because someone didn't realised it was north of the wall...
that should now be resolved so am hoping to hear next week. I drove over to the new house last night to see what the street is like on a weekend evening - pleased to say it was all quiet, though obviously it's not as usual what with visiting restrictions. I also stopped off at the village mini supermarket so that saved me a separate shopping trip and I now know what is available on the high street there - all the basics there so that's good.
Further bill pending for the van, hoping it won't be too much, and a refund payment taking longer than I would have liked - otherwise am still just minimising spending. Hopefully there will be changes, and positive ones, in the next few weeks.RB xxDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

A local shop is really handy. There's a good one at my sister's. Slightly pricier, but more likely to just get the item I go in for. Hope the mortgage gets sorted soon.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I think I will look at getting deliveries sorted when I'm there and organised. I'll be able to have more freezer space and organise my kitchen stuff better, and it will be a longer drive to the bigger shops, so I think it's a good time to try and make that switch.

Much belated shuffle this week... due to work (including the weekend), poorly cat and mortgage nonsense.Mortgage offer is FINALLY here and I wish I felt more enthusiastic about it but am knackered and haven't had the energy to properly read it yet, so it will have to be tomorrow night. It's taken a ridiculous amount of nagging and today I finally said I would put the solicitor on hold until the approval happened otherwise I was racking up bills that might have no purpose - that seems to have worked as it finally appeared a few hours later. Now I will have to figure out what needs paying exactly when but am so relieved it's gone through - the car needs looking at and I have been putting it off until after the credit check. Solicitor stuff is underway so I will read that tomorrow night too and hopefully a date can be sorted pretty quickly. My landlord has been fine about me moving with minimal notice so that is flexible.Poorly cat seems ok after all, thank goodness, and meds are not too expensive. They are insured anyway and now I remember why, even though it's expensive.I have no other news as haven't done anything but work
and that's not likely to change soon but hopefully I can do it somewhere a bit more spacious and better organised soon!
