I have a Help to Buy ISA
the car loan repayments are earning their keep by filling it! I've transferred over the first month's extra £1,000 and set up the standing order. The remaining money will sit in another account - it's only just occurred to me that it should be in the new T5B one earning interest! - and gradually fill the ISA through this year.
I've pretty much run out of patience with SB alreadyand am not going to worry about it as I've had a couple of ideas that might earn me a little money in the longer term, and I'd rather focus on those. I know some people do fine with the surveys etc eg MT does brilliantly with them, but I find it a total drag to remember to do them and get really irritated with ads etc, so will just keep an eye out for codes and good offers.
I have remembered to claim my expenses twice already this month, straight after spending, so am making progress on that bad habit :rotfl:
College is costing me a fortuneboth in revision books and in travel... but it's so nearly over, so am not worrying about that either. YNAB is confusing me because it says I haven't budgeted enough for a credit card, but I don't know why as all the payments out should be covered in budget lines. Oh well. I have some more money coming in from expenses and also my Plu5net cashback finally arrived - only two months late - so hopefully that will untangle it.
Still hoping to make fully DF at the end of May... fingers crossed.

Hello Rosa,
I'm sorry it didn't work out so well with you and The Swag!To be honest, I'm not good with surveys either as I tend to get so far through and then thrown out, which I don't trust. All I do with SB is to watch the videos on my phone and do the daily poll.
Congratulations on getting your new finances sorted. It sounds like things are really starting to move again for you. I'm also hoping to be completely debt free by the end of May, as in having my credit card paid off.

Hello Rosa
Hi Rosa, I'm trying to PM you, but your box is full. Something you said chimed with me and I'd like to ask you about it? When you get a chance can you clear some space on your messages?
Thank you

Hello lovely people
I'm good thank you - though I may declare an amnesty on housework and my flat a tip until after exams, it's so hard to do both revision and all the usual housework in the evenings!
I've cleared my inbox so DIA please do message me again, it should get through now.
I'm finding that ideas are coming to me about what I want to do next. It's a lovely feeling as possibilities are opening up, I have now idea how I could make the things I want happen yet but at least I'm getting a clearer idea of what to ask the universe for
Money situation still on track and no other news really as all I am doing is swotting and sleeping!

During exam times it's lovely to hear that things are plodding along nicely. The housework will wait patiently until you can combat it!
I know the universe listens to clear messages so I hope you get put on that right path very soon.

It's such a nice feeling when possibilities open up.
It sounds like you have your priorities sorted as housework, unfortunately, will always be there and whilst it is nice to have a sparkling house it really isn't important for now, unlike your studies.
Keep going, you are so nearly there

Have finally got an evening where I seem to have got home on time and still have some time to revise. Housework is back under control ish
(don't look at the garden)
YNAB is still confusing me a little, I think it's because I have had some refunds this month for spends last month, so I've had to put negative budget (money out) for a couple of categories to even things out. It looks like I'm about on track though, in fact I haven't been spending a lot this month (famous last words... ) as I've been at college so much. Also, I got my zero statement for the Last Credit Card! and spent a while looking for what I had to pay off before realising that there is nothing outstanding on my credit record!
Two weeks to payday, and then hopefully I can confirm that there will only be more month to go!
