How amazing to be able to say that. :T

It is isn't it? I haven't really been thinking about it, somehow it doesn't feel quite real yet. I am still adjusting to not having credit cards to pay :rotfl:

Really excited for your 5 week countdown. That time flies by! Have you thought of a way to celebrate this major achievement?

    I should do shouldn't I :D

It's ended up being at the same time as a college exam, so I am a bit distracted. I haven't yet thought what I would do to celebrate, as oddly all the things I can think of are quite cheap anyhow :rotfl:Although another Lu5h spa treatment would be a good option...

Me too with crisps. Are we all inhaling the same brand. Have they begun adding narcotics to the salt? I am narrowing my eyes in a paranoid way...

Well I've been eating/ inhaling the Tyrrels roast chicken ones... I don't know what's in them, and I probably wouldn't stop if it did turn out to include narcotics...

Though like MT a lot of it is to do with getting in late - I have some crisps because I'm too hungry to wait while I cook, but then I'm not hungry enough to bother cooking, so I eat more crisps... :o

well still mostly on track - a little overspent in a couple of areas but I have had confirmation of some money coming in that will cover it, and so far I think I can still clear everything with my May paycheque. It won't leave quite as much left over as I'd like but that can't really be helped, the extra costs are due to spending more time at college and will be over by then so June's paycheque should be all mine!

I have been getting a bit hassled about college exams, particularly trying to revise while still working and having to get normal life maintenance stuff done in the evenings. I realised this week that I needed some time to relax so have booked tomorrow as extra leave. It's another day used but I really need a bit of leeway. I have been trying to think of something fun to do as well as draft an assignment so may try and get a mini facial or perhaps a half day at a local spa and some time in the steam room and pool. I have some money that I set aside from my birthday for totally non essential fun stuff so could use that with no guilt factor.

I've started using my Desire Map planner again and was quite excited to realise that I will be DF less than halfway through it. I am hoping to pass my college exams at the end of May too, which would also open up new possibilities. Then I am going to just sit back and wait for some wonderful new adventures to happen :D

Less seizing, more flowing is what I'm after these days :) seizing gets stressful!

Well there is always something isn't there, and this time it's that I forgot to sort out my electric contract what with all the college stuff going on. It expires tomorrow and I haven't decided what to move to, so will review it on Sunday. I have found the company hassle free but they want to put my direct debit up by about 50%. I suppose that might be simpler than having to pay off the £180 current balance in one go, so perhaps I will just stick with them for the summer when my usage will be lower anyway and while I find out what's going to happen next. In future I will keep a closer eye on it as I guess I should have reduced that debit balance a while back.

I took the day off today as I'm in college tomorrow, and reminded myself that although I do have an assignment the purpose of today was to give me back a weekend day and not get stressed. So I have had a lie in, cooked, and done a surprising amount of tidying. I've reclaimed my study nook in the living room, which got a bit abandoned due to me leaving some stuff in that room that should have been stored away. I was hoping a friend would keep it for me, at least for a few weeks til I can get the shed sorted, but he wasn't very enthusiastic about the idea so I have now folded everything down and got almost all of it hidden away. I'm really pleased about this as now it separates my study and sleep spaces again. I did a little more work on my assignment and it's nearly at the word count already despite being in bullet form in places, so it will just need editing and I will do that on Sunday.

I haven't bothered shopping as I will be in college every day but Sunday right through the week, so will be eating out :o (except for breakfast) as I have to leave early and get back late. It's still cheaper to do this and use the cheaper travel than to get the faster train, and I have budgeted for it.

Not much other news really... it's all about college for a while now so just hoping to get a pass and stay relatively relaxed in the process!

Isn't that the point of adventure?

Or is 'adventure' the wrong word?
