Well my experiences with TSB has been poor - albeit when they were Lloyds TSB. But given I've attempted to have as little to do with them for several years, that's to be expected. In essence, they started querying and stopping things I was buying, claiming them to be fraudulent.
This reached a head, when they declined payment for car insurance. Yes, obviously, I was going to take delivery of the insurance, then sell it on the local market.

Well, it won't matter desperately when the account is for spending money and getting more interest than I would leaving the cash in FD. I shall keep the FD account running for my usual bills, and its overdraft in case of disaster - as having seen the charges for HF and T5B  I appreciate it much more than I did! I can always switch away again if either of them annoy me - the HF one is mostly for the switching bonus, and the T5B contactless cashback only runs til December. It's all still free money that I'm not having to work for any other way
FD used to ring me up every time I booked a coach ticket, as apparently that can be part of the pattern if cards are stolen (people make small online purchases first). It got to be a joke at college because I'd ring them back at lunchtime and confirm yes, it was me, we've discussed this before... it hasn't happened in ages though, so hopefully the fraud systems have got a bit better.

It shouldn't. I'm only using mine (I kept it open) as a transit station between 2 regular savers.RosaBernicia wrote: »It's all still free money that I'm not having to work for any other way
It is indeed.RosaBernicia wrote: »FD used to ring me up every time I booked a coach ticket, as apparently that can be part of the pattern if cards are stolen (people make small online purchases first). They've only rang once for me, and I let drop that I'd only moved to them because I'd found LTSBs fraud procedures intrusive and unacceptable, and I was quite happy to move again.
They've never bothered me since."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Small :money: things today...
- Updated YNAB - all present and correct
- Ate lunch of things already at work instead of going to the shops and facing added temptation
- Checked payslip and emailed payroll about the payrise they seem to have both added and taken off
- Chased up internet supplier about cashback which will now be over a month late (assuming it arrives when they say it will this time, since it was supposed to turn up last week)
- Put off grocery shopping til tomorrow
- Remembered I have a decent camera on new phone, so should take some photos of dresses for 3bay.
Now... I believe there is some celebrating in order as MMSam became DF and I became df-to-the-banks last week... thread party may be in order! *puts out booze and snacks, waits to see if anyone's around*

Here's the cheese n pineapple (artfully arranged in foil hedgehog as is traditional :rotfl:)
Also the dance pole, since it was so popular last time - not that I can remember how to do anything with it, but Kerri can demonstrate and I'm sure the cider will help my memory :rotfl:
