Regardless of country this gives a 10 day weather forecast if anyone needs one.

DONNY - when DH drives I fall asleep within five minutes! He used to ask me to go on some of his long-haul trucking driving trips - to keep him company, but I was always dozing off! He gave up asking after a really really long journey from Southampton to Penrith when I was practically in a coma for the entire trip! He does agree that being the passenger is boring - when we share the driving through France he dozes off when I'm at the wheel which is why last time we almost ended up in Paris when we were meant to be going the opposite way!

I daren't fall asleep, my DH is a brill driver, but no sense of direction, I have to be the navigator! Luckily I love map reading and can get us anywhere!

More to the point, is he up to doing another bathroom? If so, I could point him in the right direction...:p

    Good evening

Much too nice to stay inside today. Took DS2 to a car boot and he was happy with his bargains. I bought some yummy shortbread biscuits from and Asian lady. They're beautifully decorated and all slightly spicy.

Sorted out the greenhouse, again, and planted some more seeds. DH mended the fuse so I could cook Sunday lunch. I've not had an oven for over a week.

Csarina - our house is too full. I just can't part with things. Good for you to be able to!

    good night

Excellent - glad you're getting him trained.
Best thing about Spring/Summer - you see I am far too busy in the garden to do much housework so .... unfortunately ;) .... DH has to do it :)

Didn't get my bedroom sorted as I had an urge to cook and once I started I couldn't stop :o

    Curried parsnip soup
    Fish pie topped with mash
    Carrot cake
    Honey and banana muffins
...and I would have done Meringue Crunchies as posted earlier this week on the Daily... but when I came to start, I realised that my caster sugar is in a big solid block and completely unusable until I have given it the wet tea towel treatment  I wish I'd known this before I went to the local shop earlier for dark brown sugar for the carrot cake!

Also managed to drop my muffin tray on my big toe (no real damage done to either toe or bakeware :D)

Must get off to bed in a minute - work in the morning.

    Rzl xx
